Yeah Rastan thats the one, thanx. :woot:
No problem. I own that PCB, one of my all time favorite arcade games. IMO, still the best music out of any classic arcade game
Ed,
Relpy I send e-mail you.
Thanks, I probably check email again until Monday. Family day tomorrow ;).
Ed
Ed, What’s up?
:wonder:
Sorry,
I had a big event locally today/tonight so I was actually getting prepared for that all day.
I’ll hit you tomorrow, promise.
Ed
Ok gang, here is what I am planning on doing for other systems other than 360 and ps3 (yes, ps3 controllers are coming soon).
Since I can’t get a constant stock of controllers in for older systems, I don’t want to take orders not knowing if I can get what I need in a timely fashion.
What I am going to do is open up slots like many of custom builders do around here. For example, if I get in 12 PSX controllers, then 12 PSX slots will open up. From there you can still choose the same options you can for my 360 controllers. Artwork, Button and joystick type, etc.
I will still ask that you order from the webstore, and I’ll explain how that will work when it’s ready.
I’m working with my web programmer now to find the best way to approach this. I don’t really expect that if I get in 10 DC controllers, that there will be a battle to get in line, so it doesn’t have to be too advanced. I just want to make sure and do it in a way that is fair to all, and first come first served is put into effect. Also a way to quickly bump someone from a slot if they are not responding quickly enough and others are waiting.
It will be a seperate website to see the status of what is available.
That’s the plan anyway.
would you accept people sending you controllers for their own orders? Im sure people have controllers/PCB’s lying around that they dont use anymore.
Yes, I have done that for a few people.
Something to add to the web page as well, thanks.
DO NOT use Official Sega Dreamcast controllers as the triggers lag.
Yeah, I know. Which is one reason I am going this route ;).
BTW, a little off topic, but what the little shield icons under my name for? I never could figure that out
Sounds great.
I WILL be ordering a PS3 stick. Probably a DC or PS2.
I dunno. I want another. And a Jamma-In-A-Box too
Post count.
Everyone order from this man! He rocks!
agreed. I’m actually thinking about getting a second stick for friends.
Just wanted some comments from you all that check this page.
I’m working on a site redesign. I’ll most likely be pulling products like the Arcade-In-A-Box, Plans, etc. Focussing mostly on console controller now.
Anyway, when I do the site redesign I would like to make sure I have all the options. Is there anything I don’t offer right now you think I should during the checkout process? Seimitsu stuff? etc.
Thanks.
perhaps stick/button colors?
Good point, consider you can only see those after you checkout and fill out the custom options form.
Thanks.
Ed has been VERY helpful and responsive with all my questions, but it would definitely have been nice to see more information on the website.

FAQ
yeah i think you should offer a jack for the official xbox360, the one u are offering righ now doesnt support the mute button or the volume, i really need those two features, because sometimes im playing and my kid starts screaming and i think nobody wants to heard that. and in the button color option, please change the pink and the orange, intead put black and some other color. and another thing you only offer black and white paint for the case right? i think thats about it, other than that arcade-in-a-box is perfect, thumbs up.
Hey bud,
I don’t have a choice in terms of Sanwa buttons colors. The colors available are the only colors they come in. They don’t make a black.
Though Seimitsu does.
As for the headset, also nothing I can do about it. I’ve looked everywhere for a replacement jack that I could use that would fit the 360 headset, I Can’t find omr. Unless I can figure out a way to actually make the jack on the PCB accessible. That would mean custom molding some wood or plastic. In other words, it would be a pretty grueling process right now and total suck any profit I do make on the stick out :).
Though I will continue to look, because I hate the fact that my customers can’t use the official headset.
Thanks for all of the input guys.
