Hell On Wheels

Hell on Wheels - S4 E8

Spoiler

Ain’t this some ominous shit, in early morning Cheyenne.
Naomi seems bothered by something on her mind.
Bohannon had himself a ‘notion’ of getting some railroad-related work done. Probably to get his mind off of Elam’s death/passing.

Delaney kinda miffed at Bohannon regarding railroad work/business.
A (reluctant) team effort it is, then.
Bohannon is a man-of-action and voices his opinion about the Negroes regarding work matters, versus some white guy that’s somewhat opposed to affirmative action.
Psalms still kinda uneasy with Bohannon regarding the matters of Elam’s death/passing.

Eva tends to Charlotte, with the latter worried about her future plans in the world.

Campbell receives word about Marshall Heckard’s death and surmises that Durant is involved.
“Shit flows downstream…” - Campbell.
Not as hype sounding as “Words fall from (your) mouth, like shit from ass.” from an episode of Spartacus on Starz.

Bohannon returns to find an empty home.
He rides out to find a journeying Naomi, and child, and ends up riding along with them to their destination (the Mormon fort).

The couple returns to the fort, where Hatch greets them warmly.
It appears that The (Bishop) Swede isn’t present.

Campbell seeks Sid in the jail and converses with him.
The Governor employs Sid as the new Marshall, to uphold ‘law & order’ on Campbell’s behalf.

Eva manages help Charlotte get a job with Maggie Palmer.

At the fort, Naomi enjoys catching up with the other Mormon girls.
Hatch extends an offer to stay to Bohannon and family.
Bohannon learns that Swede has been taken away by Brigham Young to Utah.

Somewhere, Brigham Young an Swede are journeying.
Swede with that ‘look’ at the screen/viewer. He was looking at us.
Me and Shaft Agent probably marked out, while white shadow probably got angry for some reason, lol.
gif worthy moment, here.

Bohannon and Naomi discuss plans to possibly stay on at the Mormon fort, the wife is all for it considering her unpleasant experiences back in Cheyenne, where life is not what she had come to expect.

Mickey returns to Cheyenne and maintains a stealthy presence due to his ‘wanted’ status.

Sid (and posse) is out patrolling, when they go to confront the railroad workers.
A number of them are taken in due to some charges, including Psalms.

When Ruth is teaching Ezra some studies, Mickey enters and asks for refuge and hides. Later, Sid stops by and asks Ruth if she has encountered some of the wanted men, to which she says, "No."
Though Sid performs a search and comes up empty and leaves, Mickey was in hiding with help from Ezra.
Sid making some moves with Ruth, here.

Though Bohannon and Naomi have a moment to themselves at night, Bohannon parts from wife and child the next day and returns to Cheyenne.
Bohannon in business mode, yo.

Charlotte finds Eva at the casino and thanks her for her help.

Bohannon returns to Cheyenne and finds the railroad works area empty.
Later, Bohannon finds Durant and informed of the situation, before Sid appears and takes Durant away as part of Campbell’s clean-up efforts in town.

Brigham Young and Swede take in the scenery as they stop for a bit on their journey, with the former taking a moment to find out a bit more about the latter.
Though Swede tries to ‘spin’ the truth about taking on the Dutson persona, Young easily sees though facade and offers Swede a chance to retell the truth about that fateful encounter with the Dutsons.
Swede comes clean about his actions and appears remorseful, resulting in Young taking in The Swede at this side… as one Thor Gunderson.
Young to Swede, “Stop playing, fool.”

When Campbell entertains convo with Louise about current happenings and people (Durant, Mickey, Bohannon), their meeting is interrupted by Bohannon, on behalf of railroad business regarding the taken workers.
Though gentlemanly ‘terms’ are offered by ther Southerner to the Carpetbagger, Bohannon gears up for action.
Look at that 3rd person, over-the-shoulder POV of Bohannon on his way to getting ready for action. I half-expect a moment like that for when I play The Evil Within, where Bohannon’s actor, Anson Mount, plays/voices a character in the survival-horror game.

random thoughts:

 • Chars not dwelling much on Elam’s death/passing, as things are continuing onward.
 • I kinda like ‘unkempt’ Charlotte more than ‘composed’ Charlotte. the former kinda making me think about the blonde sister from The Last of the Mohicans.
 • Swede looking at the screen/viewer was legendary, even if it wasn’t intentional. gif worthy for one Shaft Agent to rival the once-animated ‘Bert’ AV.
 • Sid… He continues to exist. Had he uttered his trademark phrase of “Life’s a mystery” would’ve added to the scene where he was appointed as a new marshal.
 • I kinda liked the interaction between Mickey and Ezra for the brief moment. Like, maybe it hearkened back to a earlier time from the McGinnes youth of the brothers Mickey and Sean, perhaps.
 • Sid getting all ‘familiar’ with Ruth probably irked the ‘Bohannon x Ruth’ faction.
 • Swede continues to have purpose/existence under Brigham Young’s watchful eye. What’s gonna happen to him now?
 • Psalms has a last name (Jackson). Somewhat unexpected, I guess.
 • Swede continues to ‘evade’ judgment. His reactions to Young’s statements were amusing to watch, however.
 • gif moments of the episode: Sid ‘dancing’ in the streets. Bohannon walking in on Durant, who has his hands up in the air and acknowledges the current situation in town. Swede turning to ‘look’ at the screen/viewer.

Hell on Wheels - S4 E7

Spoiler

Bohannon is greeted by Psalms in the morning, the latter appears to be concerned for the well-being of the family unit of the former.

Later, Bohannon finds a beat-up Durant and tends to him, with Durant saying that Campbell’s marshal had attacked him.
A business arrangement is discussed; Bohannon comes away with a ‘carte blanche’ paper that is signed by Durant.

While Ezra is out hunting frogs, he encounters Elam as Bear-Killer, who tells the boy about frog leg preparation stuffs.
Probably GTFO of there too, as well.

Bohannon deals with Maggie about plans to get through the mountain for the railroad; the Durant-signed paper is a form of collateral that Palmer accepts. Maggie also worries about Bohannon and his family.

Durant confronts Campbell about last night’s incident and Campbell denies any involvement in the matter.
Durant hopes to see justice meted out.

Delaney’s has some problems with his wife, Abby, regarding Metcalfe’s death (her father) and Durant’s possible involvement. Delaney tells her to return home, east.

When Bohannon has a discussion with Naomi about some stuffs, Ezra tells him about Elam’s reappearance.
Bohannon rides out to encounter his friend, who appears to be out of sorts.

Campbell’s man, Heckard, is sent out by train to return east. Durant stalks him.
Bohannon finds Eva and tells her about his ‘condition’.
Durant is confronted by Delaney’s wife, Abby, about Metcalfe’s death, and it appears that Durant is forthcoming about the truth of the matter.

Bohannon brings Eva to ‘Bear-Killer’ (Elam).
Tension is a bit high between the reunited (former) couple, until Bohannon intervenes.

Durant details the fateful events regarding Metcalfe’s final days from his POV to Abby.
This guy, Durant…
The train suddenly stops…

Back in town, Bear-Killer is trying to auction off Charlotte and the Indian wives to some onlookers.
Campbells plans to intervene to stop Elam, and though Bohannon tries to appeal to the Governor, he is given some time to try and save his friend.
Pimpin ain’t easy in these parts.

Campbell’s man is booted from the stopped train car and is subsequently beaten down by Durant, who is exacting ‘justice’ by his own means.
Durant showing that he is quite capable of taking matters into his own hands.

The spectacle continues as Bohannon makes an attempt to reach out and save ‘Bear-Killer’ (Elam).
Psalms is brought in by Bohannon in an effort to reach out to Elam, but Elam’s delusion is strong.
Psalms lookin sad with Elam appearing hella gone.

Time is up and Bohannon makes one final attempt to reach out to Elam, but Elam strikes out at his (former) friend, despite Bohannon waving off the gunmen.
Big magic… What?

The situation proves tense as Bohannon makes a move to save the women, which is also Campbell’s plan.
The standoff becomes violent as the men confront/combat each other, with Bohannon going on the defensive.
Though Elam holds advantage at a critical point, it is Bohannon who reverses the moment and counters; going on to take/end Elam’s life. The sad ‘spectacle’ is concluded.
Bohannon with the knife QTE response into ‘last rites’ putdown.

Later in the aftermath, Bohannon visits the Negro camp where they prepare Elam’s coffin and Psalms is mad at what had happened at Bohannon’s hand. Despite his anger, Psalms allows Bohannon to carry Elam’s coffin to it’s final resting place.
As Bohannon prepares to bury Elam, he mourns the loss of his former friend.
Fitting comment here by Eva regarding Elam; “He’s not in that box.”

random thoughts:

 • Wow, just like that… Elam’s arc is ended/over. Like, the whole Elam arc of this season was unexpected IMO, and for it to come to an end was a surprise as well. Clear, this episode wasn’t.
 • Elam (as Bear-Killer) kinda sporting a ‘Frontier’ Deebo persona regarding women/bitches. The knife action is a nice finishing touch.
 • Durant not afraid to get his hands dirty. Look at Durant meting out ‘justice’ to Heckard. Capable, indeed.
 • I think everyone that was supposed to be there for the pivotal confrontation between Bohannon and Elam was present for the most part, save for some other chars that likely have some other stuff going on at the time.
 • Where was Bendix? Probably off in the wilderness somewhere, trying to recover his losses. He probably would’ve had some words regarding Elam’s condition that would’ve probably rivaled Durant’s comments to Campbell regarding mental capacities/capabilities.

Hell on Wheels - S4 E10

Spoiler

Campbell and Louise share a moment, as measured ‘triumphs’ are debated.
Bishop Shaft Agent… What say you about Louise’s calves?
Appropriate responses include, “Praise God” or “They are evil”

Campbell senses something is amiss when he hears an unscheduled train whistle.
Bohannon has returned with Durant, Mickey, and the other freed men, who are all armed.
Though the group is greeted by some resistance, Campbell allows passage for Bohannon’s group.
Clearly Campbell’s last remaining cohort didn’t get the memo of what happened to the last guy who blocked Bohannon’s way/path.

Sid watches the spectacle unfold from outside the town proper.
As the workers have gathered inside the church, Ezra appears and wants to be a part of things; Bohannon is reluctant to oblige, but defers to Ruth when she scolds him and Ezra runs off. Fun ‘family’ moment, there.
Ruth is worried about the missing Sid.
The workers are still worried about the stuff with Campbell regarding the warrants.

Brigham Young negotiates some railroad stuffs with Huntington.
Swede Gundersen is present at the meeting as Young’s clerk; a new persona.

At night, Sid appears in town and seems to be planning something as he is gathering supplies/resources.

Campbell, Durant, and a present Bohannon enter negotiations about the workers.
Law enforcement is an issue and Bohannon reluctantly takes up the job on the Union Pacific’s behalf.

While the workers are gathered at the church, a fire breaks out from the outside environs.
Sid prevents people from escaping by barricading the doors from the outside, besides shooting at people as they try to flee from the windows.
While Mickey and Psalms try to figure out something, Ruth spots Sid outside, who is looking on from afar.
The commotion reaches the meeting, causing Bohannon and Durant to rush outside and help.

Bohannon and Durant free the workers by unbarring the church doors.
A bucket brigade is formed to combat the blaze; everyone helps out.
Ruth is in shock as she sees the church being consumed by fire.

The negotiations between Young and Huntington seem to go over well.
Huntington is intrigued by Swede Gundersen, in regards to the study of railroad stuffs, under both Durant and Bohannon.
Swede proposes that he be part of Huntington’s venture, despite being under the charge of Young.

In the aftermath of the church fire, the wounded are tended to.
Eva encounters the man who had once accosted her and kills him. Louise is nearby to the event.
Look at all those titles Eva named/listed; how many of them still apply.

Ruth looks for Ezra, who appears to be missing, causing a search to take place.
Mickey offers some insight to Bohannon to where Ezra may have been hiding; under the floorboards in the backroom of the church (hiding place).
Bohannon goes to search and makes a shocking discovery…
The worst fears are confirmed when Ruth gazes upon the sight, as well.
Oh, shit…

Bohannon storms into the Palmer Hotel and makes his way to Campbell’s room, and demands the location of one Sid Snow. Campbell proclaims he is separate from Sid’s actions and offers his help in the matter.
Indeed, Bohannon has killed greater men for less, where things are concerned.
Bohannon conducts a search for Sid in town, despite Mickey’s protests. He even recalls a moment/event where things could’ve ended if things had come to pass then (the general store shoot-out).
I liked the camerawork with the continuous shot of Bohannon’s searching scene. Made me think of that one scene from ‘True Detective.’

Amidst the church ruins, Ruth recalls memories of Ezra (good and bad), but speaks on not knowing the boy’s past and unobtainable future lost to him. Ruth laments about her status of being a 'mother.'
Bohannon’s ‘other’ family stay suffering.

Young praises Swede Gundersen for having made a favorable impression on Huntington regarding railroad talks and possible ventures.
However, Young scolds Swede, and reminds him of his station/position under his watchful eye as "the one true prophet on God’s Earth."
Young slaps Swede to keep him in check, and Swede exercises much restraint to take a reprisal action.
Young to Swede, “You’s my bitch”

Louise visits Eva, where the two women discuss Eva’s action of killing the man.

Bohannon and a mourning Ruth, see to the burial of Ezra.
The event is somewhat familiar territory to Bohannon, who had lost his own son to violence.
Despite mourning the loss, an emotional Ruth has some strong words of ‘hate’ and demands justice/vengeance for Sid’s actions.
Ruth stay channeling her late father’s rage/anger with those statements.

Durant visits Bohannon and reminds him of his new/current station as the town’s newly appointed lawman. The mention of loss has Durant reminiscing about his former wife, Hannah, who had left him, which probably has white shadow recalling the visage of one Virginia Madsen, who had played the role, lol.

Louise informs Campbell about her new/upcoming article regarding current events/happenings.

Later, when Bohannon explains his plan on tackling the Sherman Peak scenario with the steam shovel, a man shouts and calls out Bohannon.
That man, is Sid Snow, who has returned to town to settle things with Bohannon.
However, despite the men having a showdown, and Bohannon appearing reluctant to undertake violence for the sake of law, Sid is shot as Bohannon makes his way to him.
Another shot rings out and finds it’s mark; Ruth has taken matters into her own hands and shoots Sid.
Sid is taken aback by the surprise and falls over on the ground, as the onlookers can only watch in shock and awe. Damn it, Sid. This was a good place to utter your famous line of "Life’s a mystery."
Holy shit…That scene was crazy. It had to be Ruth, too.

random thoughts:

 • RIP Ezra. Wasn’t expecting that end and was hoping for some sort of fateful showdown between him and Swede by the end of the season.
 • RIP Bishop Swede. Most entertaining persona of the series, by far. Of the viewers/thread visitors; at least two will miss him, one of those two will likely carry on his persona for whatever reasons, and one other person will take comfort in the small victory but still demand justice for all of Swede’s transgressions throughout the series, lol.
 • The ‘Campbell x Louise’ ship is an intriguing paring. Here you have two people who are on their own definite paths slowly realize their positions in the turbulent wild western frontier, amidst events that continue to challenge their pre-conceived notions/ideals of things from their POV. Them hooking up is another thing altogether.
 • Swede, what happened to you? Who is that shadow of a man that appeared in this episode? Young continues to keep him in check. Gotta give Swede some props for trying to get out from under Young’s control by possibly going with Huntington’s railroad venture. I will be surprised if Swede takes any sort of violent action toward Young by the end of this season.
 • (Dark) Ruth rises, somewhat. I like the black dress stuffs, though. Still, a surprising change/event amidst the professional/personal lines of her persona. Righteous anger, indeed.
 • Everything that could happen to Bohannon occurs less with him but to the people around him (which in turn affects him), due to outside influence; the two ‘families’ scenarios makes for an interesting compare/contrast.
 • That preview for the November 8 episode. It looks like Sid continues to persist/exist. I hope nothing happens to Ruth, though.

Hell on Wheels - S4 E9

Two matchups; Durant vs. Campbell and Bohannon vs Sid (by proxy).

The POV of a ‘gray world’ is an interesting statement.

Sid interrogates Mickey about Bohannon’s “plan”, and Mickey eventually offers up some information about the breakout plans.

Louise visits Campbell, where business segues into carnal indulgence.
Intriguing foreplay scene, there.

Bohannon’s plan begins to take form.

While under guard, Mickey, Durant, and Psalms work silently/secretly to free themselves and the workers.

Sid senses that something is amiss; realizes Bohannon’s play.
This Bohannon… MGS stuffs in action, here.

Delaney arrives with a locomotive to the stopped train car.
Bohannon and company prepare to confront Sid, who promptly arrives.
A standoff occurs, then becomes a shootout. Losses are incurred on both sides.
Delaney evens the odds on Bohannon’s side with a gatling gun.
However, in the aftermath, Bohannon, Durant, and Mickey search the former transport car and find out that Sid has disappeared.

random thoughts:

 • The Bohannon vs Sid stuffs is a nice change of pace from Bohannon vs. everyone else stuffs.
 • Mickey has a crew and they are coming to visit/support him?
 • I wonder what has Ruth so spooked about Sid?
 • The Campbell x Louise ship has been building for sometime now, and has become realized.
 • That MGS stealh action. Bohannon channeling Snake.
 • Sid appears gone… But for how long?

 • That brawl between Durant and Campbell was lolz.

thoughts on the season:
First half was unreal, mainly for the grandness that was Bishop Swede and the conflict with Bohannon.
Sidney Snow was also a highlight with his arc, and though Bohannon was a focus opposite Sid, Ruth was it’s star at the latter stages/end.
Campbell was an interesting addition and adding to the dynamic with Bohannon and Durant in his own way.

But the death toll with some chars; Elam, Ruth, and Ezra.
Elam’s scenario was “WTF is going on.” Then he is put-down by Bohannon, with Eva hating on him, and later buried by Bohannon, as well.
Then Ezra, who should’ve had an encounter with Swede, versus the sudden end.
Ruth, too. Bohannon can’t ever be with another woman. Some guy gonna appear and shit will happen.

Camera-work was pretty interesting for some scenes through the season.

Now Bohannon switching sides opposite Durant and working for Huntington?

Everyone else (from Cheyenne) doing stuff?

Looking forward to the new season.

Bohannon recalls a hanging event from his past and shares it with Ruth.

Later, Durant tells Bohannon about his past aspirations to have become an actual doctor.
“What happens to men like us,” indeed. Durant seems optimistic.

[

[

[] That opening idyllic scene, though. I actually imagined it was either Lily or Ruth, instead of Naomi, lol.

[] Damn. Chang dealing out some kung fu to those Irish thugs, until that one moment.
[
] Wonder if Chang is gonna get revenge like with how Durant and Mickey did when they were wronged.
[] Fong (Mei) with the backstory.
[
] Damn. You know something is up when even Chang has to somewhat kowtow to Swede.
[] Swede stay planning something big, though. How much chaos he gonna create? Will the dog be part of it?
[
] Random gif moment: the scene where Phineas was going off and Swede was telling him to calm down (gestures).
from the convo between Chang and Tao in S5 E3:

The Swede is well on his way, or something.
Look at his transformation over the course of the series.
He is a changed and learned man. All because of Bohannon.

[] lol @ that opening scene. Stagecoach Mary is srs bsns/gangsta. Johnny Shea, you got KTFO insert Chris Tucker from Friday gif
[
] Chang’s speech needed subtitles.
[] Durant being mad at Bohannon continues to be lolz.
[
] Louise still trying to get scoops, now as a freelancer. Durant be like, “Never speak to this woman.”
[] It seems like there be business problems between Mickey and Eva.
[
] Durant handling railroad workers with the swiftness. Psalms be like, “white people.”
[] Shaft Agent probably enjoyed that practice sermon lesson scene between Phineas and Swede, who is about that ‘from the heart’ inspiration. Audience of one, yo. Swede-ception: Bishop Swede preaching to ‘current’ Swede about whatever.
[
] Kinda interesting to see Durant and Mickey on terms, when in a past season IIRC, Durant told Mickey to piss off when the latter had tried to negotiate/blackmail stuffs with the former giving a very spirited speech, or something.
[] Eva, though a madam(?) still has the whore mindset when dealing with the unruly wenches.
[
] lol @ Psalms trying to mack on Stagecoach Mary. Louise with the interruption, Psalms be like, “what you doing (here) white girl.” Uh oh, Stagecoach Mary seems to have been distracted with Louise’s appearance, and appears somewhat taken with her. Psalms’ chances at something may be over… unless he parlays it into a three-way, lol. Louise with her hair down isn’t that bad, though. Add to that Durant’s comments about her being ‘freckled’ would be a nice accent to her appearance.
[] Mickey dealing with Johnny was interesting to see. Remember when he had to deal with Sean a number of seasons ago? It’s all about business/relationship management for Mickey, who is between Eva and Johnny. Look at Johnny handling stuff on his watch as the new railroad foreman, kinda like his bar appearance introduction scene, with violence.
[
] The exchanges (in natural language) between Chang and Tao are always nice to see as a sort of ‘other side’ to the conflict at present.
[] Damn, Tao speaking to Bohannon about the dead probably made him reflect on stuff regarding to railroad/life stuffs.
[
] Chang was scheming something after all.
[*] random gif moments - Bohannon laughing at Chang’s written requests, Bohannon chilling when Tao comes to inform him about Chang’s possible uprising.

[] Oh, shit. Bohannon stay confronting Chang about one ‘Thor Gunderson’, with Chang offering some choice words about one’s past as a reply to Bohannon. The back-and-forth continues with some payroll stuffs.
[
] lol @ the tour guide presentation by Mickey (and Eva). Eva done slapped that bitch, lol.
[] Even Phineas has some words for Bohannon regarding Gunderson. It’s like that, huh.
[
] Swede stay manipulating Chang for something regarding (The Devil) Bohannon.
[] Really liked that camera panning shot when Swede (and Phineas) are about to depart but Bohannon suddenly appears, lol. The look on Swede’s face, though.
[
] Bohannon speaking the native (Chinese) language for a bit while Tao was instructing the new workers was a nice touch.
[] Swede with the ‘revelation’ to Phineas about his greater role, with the inside barn scene/lighting backdrop combo as an accent.
[
] Durant/Maggie scene was lulz, if only for the interaction regarding their ‘business’ relationship.
[] Bohannon concerned about Chang’s ‘capability’, despite Tao’s outlook on the matter.
[
] Louise with child? Eva administering treatment? Well, shit.
[] One Psalms Jackson buying land parcels despite Durant’s protests, who looks to even feels bad for a moment.
[
] Tao with the concerns about one (Mei) Fong to Bohannon…
[] This Durant… down but not out and still scheming with the roundabout plan to/with Maggie Palmer. Looking like a power couple here.
[
] Church confrontation between Bohannon and Swede… interrupted by Phineas and happenings elsewhere.
[] Well, shit. Tao is taken out. Mostly likely due to Chang’s scheming (grievances) against Bohannon, along with Swede’s influence.
[
] random gif moments: Swede commanding/motioning the dog to ‘sit’ when in Chang’s business place, Bohannon firing a ‘warning’ shot at Swede in the Mormon camp church, Swede sifting through the rice crates (could be a ‘salt’ gif, or something)

[] Retruibution against Chang, when?
[
] Brigham Young stay practicing sumo with getting the bear statue through the doorway, lol.
[] Durant stay stalling, while Brigham Young be like, “Where’s my money?”
[
] That haggling between Stagecoach Mary and Mei. Bohannon, knowing better, says nothing.
[] Brigham Young stay talking strong to Eva like he’s the pimp and she’s the hoe she is.
[
] River crossing turns tumultuous, cargo is lost…
[] Should’ve listened to Eva, Louise. Random peek at her calves, though.
[
] Cargo is recovered, and Bohannon helps to dig another grave, while Mei shares cultural burial rites stuffs.
[] Durant with the ‘business talk’ to Brigham, with Maggie assist. Power couple at work here. The statement Durant made to Brigham was strong.
[
] I think Bohannon benefited from that lantern ceremony, if only to reflect on those he has lost.
[] Swede stay plotting something against the Hatch family.
[
] Oh, shit. Louise with the affection toward Eva. How many cast members were there to see that moment when that scene was filmed? lol.
[] A ‘recovered’ Louise writes a newspaper piece that neither railroad front-runner is pleased with.
[
] Bohannon and Fong/Mei return, but it looks like more stuff gonna go down with U. Grant calling for a meeting.

[] Ulysses Grant demands for an understanding/agreement between Durant and Huntington on railroad stuffs, in regards to Brigham’s interests. The back-and-forth between Durant and Huntington kinda reminded me of the Durant vs Campbell conflict stuffs. Bohannon with the late arrival, “What’d I miss?”
[
] Ah, shit. Phineas confronts Brigham with Swede in tow regarding the Hatch stuffs. Damn. Brigham doesn’t even really acknowledge his son and just calls out Swede for his meddling, then tells the both of them to GTFO.
[] Swede and Phineas receive news about the ‘Hatch-ites’ via ‘divine providence’ and appears to set out somewhere as Bohannon looks on from afar. Swede’s dog getting some screen time, lol.
[
] Internal strife continues between Eva and Josie about lost money stuffs. Josie goes to speak with Mickey (and Johnny) about it and suggests a change in hoe stewardship. It looks like something going on between Johnny and Josie. Kinda hoping Eva was gonna slap a bitch, there.
[] A consensus of sorts regarding a railroad path is reached (via Bohannon’s survey results) but Durant opposes it and thus reveals his intention when called out by Grant, leaving Brigham displeased.
[
] Sidebar action: conflict between Durant and Brigham on ‘who needs who’ more, Huntington tries to get Bohannon, the railroad man/tycoon, to sell an idea to Grant based on the President’s favor of the Southerner.
[] That’s right, Eva. “Whores, lie.” Mickey in a tight spot though regarding people/business.
[
] Dang. Everyone important talking to Bohannon cause he curries favor with President Grant. But it’s Brigham who has something to offer Bohannon; the whereabouts of the Hatch-ites.
[] It appears Bohannon has made some sort of deal with Brigham, in regards to the location of the Hatch-ites. The convo with Grant, the evening prior, probably gave Bohannon some insight on how to progress forward with things.
[
] Eva… Why you no slap a bitch when Josie cut you? Should’ve backhanded that hoe like when Marcus ‘Darkseid’ Chaplin did it to Serrat on Last Resort, and with the stare-down afterwards, lol.
[] Phineas, Brigham would’ve probably told you that the ‘evil’ sheep is right under your nose. Swede continues to influence Phineas in his favor. lol @ the redux of the ‘vision’ stuffs, with Swede replying “Tell me.”
[
] Damn… Eva done shot that hoe Josie. Then, waltzes on over to where Mickey and Johnny are at, gun in had and money recovered. Johnny mad, but Mickey stops him and agrees with Eva’s decision to handle things her way.
[] Well, shit. Bohannon with the audible at the meeting regarding the railroad’s terminus; none, with the spoils of Ogden going to whoever gets there first - a race to the finish for both railroads.
[
] Holy shit. Phineas done did it now… Well, almost. Brigham survives by force of sheer will to spoil Phineas’ ascension to greatness.
[] lol @ Swede experiencing joy then horror when his plan goes bust. That hasty retreat though… Poor dog.
[
] News of Brigham’s condition reaches Bohannon, who sets out to find Swede. Brigham needs to live, just so he can punish Phineas.
[] Swede arrives and overlooks the Hatch’s location. He appears to be on a mission.
[
] That 2016 preview, though… Bohannon vs Swede showdown is happening!
[*] random gif moment(s): Brigham gesturing Phineas and Swede to GTFO, complete with Swede’s exit. Durant’s peace offering to Bohannon. Bohannon laughing at Durant’s request to take him back to the UC. Brigham’s outburst to Durant (You lying heathen!) and outburst to Bohannon (Godless bastard!). Swede raising his hands in joy when Phineas appears to proclaim himself the new leader, but disgust when Brigham reveals himself to have survived the assassination attempt.
Saw the latest ep. So underwhelming. Drama for the sake of drama. Bohanon leaves the extremely cunning and dangerous Swede alive after he has was on the verge of killing him and his family, killed his former lover and a host of innocent people. After he has avoided death several times, he decides to risk taking him to a fort to serve “justice” while he himself is severely injured. Such stupidity.

The only thing that was satisfying was seeing The Swede die and piss himself. I don’t know if his flashbacks were to garner sympathy or understanding, but it just made him seem even more pathetic.

The whole Greek tragedy angle the show has is getting stale, good thing the series is almost over.

Wait…so the rest of the season has started up again!?
Cuz the last episode I saw, was the Swede hauling ass towards the location of Bohanon’s family, after the botched assassination of Brigham Young!!

And that was last year!!

UPDATE:
NEVERMIND, I’m watching the episodes right now starting with Ep 8!!

GET rekt, SWEDE!!! B) =)
