Heihachi 102 -

Just wanted to start a Heihachi thread for any1 who had any questions regarding Hei in Tekken 6 BR.

Will update page as soon as i finish up a nice write up for general strats for Hei.

Top 10 moves with explanations?

  1. EWGF - Safe launcher, frame advantage on block, can be used as juggle filler
  2. 1, 1 > 2 - Fastest punisher, knockdowns
  3. f+4 - Mid poke, frame advantage, bounds
  4. ff+2 - Mid launcher, high crush, leads to big damage
  5. d/f+1, 1 - Safe poke
  6. d+1 - Mid poke, bounds
  7. HS - Unseeable, leads to a mixup
  8. 1+2 - for punishing
  9. u/f+ 3,4 - Hits mid, low crush, safe on block
  10. d/b+2 - Hits low, hard to see

Are we talking about BR here cuz this is pretty much what he did in all of the previous tekkens :xeye:

Yeah, he hasn’t changed much from DR to BR. The only difference in top 10 moves is his Twin Pistons launcher, d/f+1, 2, which has been removed in 6.0 and BR and has been replaced with a Bound move, same move as Kazuya’s d/f+1, 2.

My Top 10

1)DF 1, 2 -
Hit confirmable .
Produces a heavy wallsplat (allowing player to backdash/SS ~ Combo~ Bound)
If done on side of opponent , you get a free dash Stomp (D4)
Good damage as a bound! (combo ender)

  1. F3 -
    Mid and tracks as long as its done out of a CD~cancel (cd= Crouch dash)
    On Hit* leaves opponent head first, faced down
    On Ch hit * crumple stun giving you and easy 50% combo
    wall splats on REgular hit
    hits grounded opponents from the side
    hits TEching opponents
    Great add on to combos for max damage with minimum scaling
    ~~~EXample - EWGF dewgf f3 dewgf D1 B! ~ ender

  2. 1+2
    CD44 is no longer a just frame and is pretty easy to hit now granting players the combo:
    1+2 CD4 N4 dash D1 cd441 (thats the most basic combo)
    1+2 Dewgf Dewgf D1 Cd 441 (thats a bit harder)
    1+2 CD~ws 4 bf 22 cd 441 (stupid hard)

~~1+2 is now 15frames and is also jab punishable now but still grants a combo in a game where combos have a better payout than poking

  1. F1+2
    easy, 10 frame punisher with free follow-ups. Why jab ,when you can get 30% instead of 30 damage. Bringing back 5.0 brokeness back to the game (which i appreciate)
    Downside - Punishable
    Answer - STop fucking mashing and wiffing moves
    Combos:
    f1+2 qcf2
    f1+2 D1
    f1+2 Dewgf ?

    This move is just gangsta as hell
    Mid hits grounded
    creates a mix up game between D3, f3,ws1 at wall

Sorry to bump this old and extremely dead thread, but I was hoping to maybe get a little more info on Heihachi since it seems like there are some peeps here who know their shit. Been messing around with him, and even though I’ve dismissed him for a long time before this I’m really liking his style now. Would be interested to see what you guys have to share.

Also, a quick random question. If I remember correctly, Heihachi had multiple versions of his EWGF in past Tekkens (standard Mishima EWGF and one unique to him that was even harder to get). Am I wrong on that? If not, does he still have that in BR?

Multiple versions of his EWGF? No, all Mishima characters just have WGF and EWGF, except maybe Kazuya is you count his 13 frame Mist Step EWGF.

I think you are talking about Heihachi’s OTGF. It’s a just frame version of the regular Mishima TGF. Not sure if he still has it in BR.

hei still has otgf and its unsafe again, just like in 5.0… im pretty sure its -10 on block… not sure why they would change it… wasnt even a cheap move anyway lol
