Idk, not a fan of cards that make your opponents turn feel like shit and this guy is neutral.
Wow, getting that card in arena will be the ultimate anti flamestrike. Will be in every deck for anti miracle too
Now Millhouse will have another useable legendary for him to combo with so that he’s playable!
…wait.
That thing’s utility is so disturbingly delicious for so many classes.
Mages will definitely…loathe the card.
That one more turn you need to survive for lethal, and albeit your opponent’s board is devoid of threat, their ceaseless, premature hammering on the “Well played!” button gets on your nerves, when suddenly, you top deck that beauty; “Taste Naxx, you sparkle flinging walking disaster of a bastard!”
Also if you play that card alone at turn 5, your opponent practically can’t use any spells barring 0-1 cost spells. That’s really amazing.
What can you do when you’re behind on board and your opponent drops this sucker?
Play Ragnaros, win the game.
That card is insane. I can easily put it in a Giants deck where the only thing that can remove them are spells. That would be good with lorewalker Cho. Good luck trading minions
Zoo is going to be some scary shit with Nerub egg and this card coming.
Loatheb is pretty much anti Auctioneer + Conceal. Only time I wouldn’t run this dude is in a zoo-heavy environment.
I expect a strong silence neutral minion still to come, or ironbeaks will become more popular
Nevermind that the coin and innervate will cost 5 mana
Or that priest spell that silences all minions!! I usually run it as a 1 of in my priest deck for card draw.
Also, it’s confirmed that Millhouse and Loatheb trigger based on order of play. Whichever is played last has its effect persist.
Loatheb is so going in my rogue discard deck.
My current priest deck runs 2 silences, but it also runs 2 ancient watchers, so there’s that. They come in handy in a lot of situations.
Oh yes…much fun will be had with Loatheb in my discard deck. That deathrattle card that sends a friendly minion back to your hand…I can totally make that work to my advantage. And that bullshit Duplicate spell too if I can manage it.
On monday they’ll announce all the new cards
Turn 5 Loatheb in a discard rogue deck basically means your opponent can’t play shit for 1-2 turns. Spells are too expensive, and minions will get vanished on turn 6 anyway.
Pulled another Knife Juggler, and also got my first Druid of the Claw. Pretty nice.
The more I’m thinking about loatheb, the less crazy it seems. You’ll have to play it after an auctioneer/conceal or else you’re just delaying the game a turn, especially if the rogue is also running one. Still an effective tool for anti mage and rogue, but not deck breaking.
