3 or 4 arenas in a row now without any board clear, mind gobbling.
Everyone always says that, but nobody has any proof. Itās all āI didnāt get it so it must be a botā syndrome.
Also, apparently they reset rankings/started test season 2, which goes until the end of the month. But they said Season 2 is also a test season, so donāt expect any rewardsā¦ which surprises me. I expected Season 2 to go off at the same time as open beta, otherwise there might be an influx of new players in during the middle of the season, which might not be too bad I guess.
Itās more likely that reddit beta keys get taken by no-life-nerds (aka the type of person who goes on reddit)
Consider that the reddit unique hits per minute is probably 4 or 5 digits, then decide if itās truly a boy system thatās mining beta keys.
Apparently they had issues and the Season 2 start was delayed, they couldnt transition from season 1 to season 2 correctly. Yay for beta!
Damn
Started doing ranked and went from 25 to 13 but ran into the atypical wall that is murloc warlock that would completely destroy my deck unless i have a amazing hand or if the opposing player has a absolute shit hand, otherwise I potentially dominate the early-mid game against most decks.
Probably needs a bit of trimming *gnomish inventor probably has to go in favor of more board clears like betrayal to handle blood imps and all those damn murlocs.
Fuck those blood imps lol
The worst thing is that your AoE doesnāt do proper damage to the other minions when a blood imp dies.
What are some stud cards to craft for a Rogue Deck?
Did you already have him? I wouldnāt DE him unless you did, heās a really sought after legendary and if he even gets changed (likely) then youāll get the full dust from DE.
Depends on the deck, but SI-3 Agent is totally awesome and a must play in a rogue deck, easily.
Yeah I got one from like my 4th or 5th pack and now this one. Damn I feel stupid now, had no clue about that even though itās pretty logical.
I really like running Shadow Step when you get your SI:7 Agents and Defias Ringleaders, you can also use it to pseudo-āhealā normal minions or use their battle cry again.
Defias ring leader is pretty great. Great opener with coin -> defias.
Eviscerate is absolutely amazing. So much utility. Can do backstab -> eviscerate for 6 damage at 2 mana cost, minion summon -> eviscerate, etcā¦ Can even bank 2 eviscerates for the kill for 8 damage unbuffed directly towards your opposing hero.
SI:7 agent is another great card; 3 mana 3/3 with 2 damage on combo. I only realized recent that coin -> Agent on turn 2 is really amazing. Another great opener. Can also do stuff like Backstab -> agent for 4 damage/3 mana, or minion summon -> agent to pick off something with 2 health left.
Shadow step is pretty nifty.
For neutral cards; Azure drake for that +1 spell damage AND ability to draw a card on summon. Great synergy with your spells and 4/4 at 5 mana on top of what it does is great. Backstab reaches 3 damage, evis does 5 on combo now, fan of knives hits for 2 etcā¦
Helps you cycle through your deck otherwise.
Fucking this lol. Itās like the blood imp dies but the other minions keep the 1+ health somewhat. Even more annoying when thereās 2 imps on the field. I was running with 1 fan of knives and no way in hell can I get past that army of murloc locks in ranked with just that and 3 minions that buff spell damage.
Betrayal would definitely be more suited for the meta at higher ranks.
2x Backstab (Staple)
2x Deadly Poison (Staple)
2x Argent Squire (Optional, Personally I like being able to have a 1st turn play)
2x Eviscerate (Staple)
1x Bloodmage Thalnos (Good card, in the more aggro version I cut this card)
2x Defias Ringleader (Decent card, usually throw it back if I do not have the coin)
2x Loot hoarder (Solid slot but, If Mage heavy meta I replace with Fairy Dragons)
2x Novice Engineer (Staple)
2x Harvest Golem (Value creature on curve not much else to say)
1x Shattered Sun Cleric (Sometimes I play 2 of these and cut Tinkmaster Overspark)
2x SI:7 Agent (Staple)
1x Tinkmaster Overspark (Insane against Paladin,Druid,Shaman)
2x Dark Iron Dwarf (Staple)
2x Defender of Argus (Staple)
1x Assassinate (Only play if expecting lots of Paladin and Druid)
1x Azure Drake (Flex Slot)
1x Sylvanas Windrunner (Super Overrated card but, still good)
1x Argent Commander ( To Northrend!)
1x The Black Knight (For Druid, Otherwise play 2 Argent Commander)
This is a good shell to base a rogue deck off of. Obviously you wonāt have all these so fit in similar cards and should do fine.
Actually doing some research into classes a lot more now. Iām kinda tired of experimenting in Arena; it was fun at first, but in the end Iām finding that I really just want to win over experiment.
Just drafted a pretty darn good paladin deckāwith no epic/legendary support (basically the ones I got were pretty craptastic). Did fairly well but had two really bad mulligans. I hate losing like that. went 5-3.
I DEād some epics the other day to better round out my main decks: Onyxia, prophet velen (may have been dumb to do), and one other that I canāt quite recall.
About to roll priest in the Arenaā¦kinda meh draft but weāll see: no board wipesā¦my purple choices were between a murloc, pirate, or something else that was horrendousā¦i went murloc :-/
This is a pretty bad arena (for me). Mage, Druid, Mage, Shaman.
Mage: plethora of cones, blizzards, and flamestrikes. Slowly widdled me down until he smashed me with fireballs and then the 10 damage fireball.
Druid had a plethora of sweepers 2x starfalls and 3x swipe (not to mention his spot removal). Even with 2 mind controls he always had an answer. Not much I could do.
Mage part 2-- this guy sucks.
Shaman: off to a great start. He was able to balance to board (at 9 life) and then swarm with cheap creatures and bloodlust me at the endā¦ no boardwipe is bullshit.

This is my rank 10 rogue deck, it either finishes the opponent off fast, or you die basically
In Constructed, I feel that Rogue is possibly the most consistent class to play. However, itās also pretty mind-intensive to play, since youāre always looking multiple turns ahead when choosing what removal to use on what minions. If I was just grinding out ladder, Iād probably just say āfuck itā and play aggro Warlock, or play something that just beats aggrolock 80% of the time.
Yeah I have a hyper aggressive Warlock deck and either uses that or my Rogue deck for grinding out wins in ranked
I am absolutely dumbfoundedā¦ I had the beta invitation since Oct. 18th and Iāve just found out. Iāve been so eager to play this and have been watching streams almost everyday! OMGAAAAAAAAAAAD time to play
