Well priests are generally a control class with a very strong late game.
a very brief class overview
Druid - class with probably the most varied and flexible decks out there ramp, midrange, control, token, whatever. Downsides being that youll want 2x ancient of lores asap which are both epics and several class cards keeper of grove, wraths, druid of the claw, 1x starfall and a fair amount of solid neutrals. Can make do without the ancient of lores for awhile but theyre practically core cards that hold all druid decks together.
Rogue - can make a effective deck with solid neutrals and a couple class cards eviscerate and agents and make a cheap but effective tempo deck. Was my go to class when i started out and would definitely recommend it. Miracle rogue being a top tier competitor but pretty expensive to craft.
Shaman - another class with notably good budget deck options. Youāll want lightning storms asap and several other class cards, though i am not up to date with their builds.
Mage - aggro mages are a thing at the moment to counter zoos and the like, a tradtional control mage might work for you but not really that strong unless theres a deck i missed out on. One of the best hero powers in the game and very simple but effective spells.
Paladins - Welllll youd probably want to look this class over unless youe looking the build an odd aggro paladin, a fair amount of their notable decks are quite expensive to craft. Not too amazing apparently in this meta as well. If you got an idea involving divine shields protcting so and so minions, buff related playstyle, go ahead and have fun. Truesilvers are amazing, equality bread and butter combos, Peace Keeper to keep big minions in line or to help trade more favorably
Warlock - Its either the extremely cheap but extremely effective Zoo or handlock. The former is pretty simple aggro deck at a glance, probably not too fun if youre looking for a more control based playstyle. Handlock requires quite abit of expensive cards, iv heard of handlocks without alex/jaraxxus and even giants but thats another story.
Hunter - Former or possibly still the king of rushdown with surprisingly varied decks. The infamous unleash the hounds recently got nerfed but theyre still relevant. Pretty cheap to craft decks and playing the trap version can be fun imo, misdirection is a hilarious trap.
Warrior - Aggro warrior decks are among āthe most consistent decks out thereā forgot where I heard this from, either way, relevant aggro decks, fun enrage playstyle if you want to poke at it, control warrior not being too relevant now and quite expensive, but still pretty powerful.
Priest - I think best described as a tournament class thatās very strong in certain match ups if you build for it, but very inconsistent/difficult for ranked play. Priests do best at pissing druids off to no end.
