Something cool happened when I tried to take control of a Core Hound. There wasn’t enough room on my side, so it got destroyed instead.
EDIT: has anyone tried using Angry Chicken in a Warlock deck?

Most likely not worth it at all unless you want laughs.
Amani is a 2/3, 3 mana minion that gains 3 attack from enrage, reaching to 5 attack. Chicken goes up to 6 attack IF it somehow survives.
Even if you do something like angry chicken + houndmaster/mark of the wild etc… it’s too useless outside of that. Atleast Amani can take a hit early game and be somewhat threatening if it enrages.
Then theres worgen that completely shits on both when enraged.
Well I’m thinking that if I have Angry Chicken + Blood Imps out, and something to deal 1 damage to it, then I could get the enrage bonus pretty fast.
The thing that sucks is that even if you do have a blood imp out + angry chicken, there’s just too many cards out there that can deal with it easily. Hell say if a priest plays a northshire cleric and enrages the chicken, he could just heal the chicken -> get the card draw -> chicken enrage gone. yes it works
Furthermore if you dont have a bloodimp/card to buff it, it’s completely useless otherwise. While Amani/worgens are somewhat sturdy with 3 health unbuffed and is far more threatening when placed alone than a angry chicken and can get enraged without dying a lot easier without setup.
All and all angry chicken is useless on his own, and not too threatening even when buffed when compared to the two i’ve mentioned. Unless they implement new spells/minions that can buff 1/1 minions to absurd levels talking absurd enough to warrant even putting a chicken lol and worth building a deck over, he’ll be useless for a while.
Either I am on a lucky streak or I’m getting really good at arena. This is my 3rd straight that I’ve gotten to 8 wins or more. I’m actually earning gold in arena lol
You could MAYBE pull it off in a priest deck
i may be in the midst of my first 0-3
I’ve gotten 2 wins in every Arena run except for one, which was 4.
I put the angry chicken in my Warlock deck. I’m going to try it out and see how it goes for a while. I’m not content with just hypothetical situations. If I find something cool I’ll report back.
Okay, but don’t say that we didn’t warn you. Angry Chicken sucks, yo.
Hey, if the man wants to play with his cock that badly, I don’t think any of us should criticize him for it.
If you’re playing for fun, cool combos, yes it’s a good card.
If you’re playing to win, it’s not a good card.
But it’s fun if you’re a Johnny, and I can respect that.
(for those not familair with M:TG player archetypes)
Apparently I’m a Johnny/Spike, aka a whiny little bitch when losing.
So I pretty much had the worst game ever. 3rd round, I accidentally clicked the end turn button without doing anything. Hung in there, had the lead and was about to win when I shot the game-winning fireball…at myself.
Don’t click and drag your cards, just click once, and then click to release. You can right click to cancel casting a card, as well.
I guess I’m a “Johnny” then.
In any game, I refuse to play with the popular build/character/skill/weapon/etc. that everyone else uses. That’s just how I am. I like to try things out to see if I can make them work in some way. If I can’t, then at least I can say I tried. Xian made Gen work, and the result was winning Evo. Chris G made Doom/Morrigan work, and he became a dominant Marvel player as a result.
I simply want to find combos that nobody thought of and beat my opponents that way. So yes, I want to win, but I also don’t want to just use the cards that everyone else uses. Where’s the fun in that? The whole point of TCGs is to come up with interesting combinations, right?
Good point, but it doesn’t change the fact that Angry Chicken is bad. I tried to make it work in Paladin, Priest and Hunter, but It’s almost anyways a better idea to run Amani Berserker over Angry Chicken, since that one has a far higher chance to get some use of its enrage text than the chicken.
If you want to try to make some crazy builds, I’m always up for some creative playtesting.
Man, I have some really bad luck. Losing most of my matches now. I think I need to do something about the late game, but I think that would require cards I don’t have at the moment.
I’m definitely making progress. I’m not winning a whole lot more, but I feel like I understand WHY I’m losing now as opposed to it feeling like I either got lucky or didn’t every game.
So, am I the only one who does a double take every time he plays the Venture Co. Mercenary card?
