Yeah and it’s more necessary now that Control Hunter is slowly but surely becoming a thing. You can’t just say Hunter anymore so it does need a name and everyone knows it by Cancer Hunter.
Well i’ve heard 3 kinds of hunter referred to as cancer. All out face, standard deathrattle, and even some more midrangey beast ones. It’s not really descriptive in the least.
Cancer hunter is the undertaker based always to the face version, I believe
Deathrattle Hunter is Cancer Hunter. It’s the standard…and a lot easier to type and say. All out face basically is Cancer Hunter, there are very few differences.
Midrange Hunter is just…Midrange. Probably will turn into Call Pet Hunter.
I don’t get what you guys mean with Deathrattle Hunter, all the archetypes they currently have are heavily Deathrattle oriented.

By looking at the list Firebat played in the pinnacle tournament there are also variations in between.
speaking of, I just got a call pet into 1 mana tundra rhino into me dead by turn 5, ggs lol
This is basically what I would consider “cancer hunter” decktype, although probably putting clockwork gnome in place of like loot hoarder and tracking, because its a 1 mana deathrattle 2/1 and good for aggression; but maybe hes been cycled out, Im not sure
I’m going to try and make a beast hunter work this season or die trying. That’s what made me main the class back during beta and not the undertaker nonsense that everyone is running now.
And nobody expects the turn 10 buzzard + unleash and double wolf 
I remember doing dailies and ran into face hunter as mech rogue. Established tempo and cleared the board, lost about 15 health to keep my minions but he had a low hand size.
But then jeeves came on a curve + several other little dudes and just reloaded his hand and continue the pressure.
Whens 1/3, 1 mana minion that gives you Glad long bow effect to your weapons as long it’s alive. Clearly i should have just gone face
Played Arena and finally drew an Unstable Portal. After a good month of getting Nebulon’d, Grommash’d, Juggernaut’d, Ysera’d, Gahrzilla’d, I managed to the draw the amazing 0 mana Abusive Sergeant.
When you Unstable into Target Dummy then you can complain.
That was a sad day.
Drew up a Druid that just went 5-2 in ranked. Made it to clear two dailies. After that run…I think I’ll keep it.

I just find it funny the one time I’m unable to draft an Unstable Portal with Mage…I go 12 Wins.
Unstable portal has been getting me stupid good stuff more often than not.
turn 3 duplicate, turn 4 Dr. Boom. Opponent gives me 2 copies of Boom bots.
I throw down 2 copies of boom bot -> frost bolt -> 0 mana Edwin Van Cleef from my second Unstable portal.
Probably posted it and i lose track of my posts but yeah… Nutty ass card.
It’s nutty for sure, the problems come up when you have to rely on it.
Thus the risk of running a merloc deck.
