Tournament impact.
Oh. I donât really watch tournaments or streams so I am out of the loop in that regard. Well it is a good thing if cards that are never used in highest level play/tournaments find some use with the next expansion.
Owl, Creeper and Kodo are pretty decent beasts, I can see this working.
what if they change druid of the claw transformations to have beast labels?
You could use stuff like Hibernate on druid forms in WoW.
Thank god for big game hunter, if that ever goes rampant.
Finally, the value âI got the Beast in my Sightsâ on curve!
Hmm druid beast deck? I think u would have to run quite a few of them to get that effect to happen often enough to make it worth it. 4/4 with no effect for 5 isnât very good especially since there are some gr8 outright superior 5 drops. (Azure drake, belcher, druid of claw, etc.)
A cool note. It says âtransformâ so you canât silence off that buff.
Managed to break into rank four last night with a midrange shaman. Would love to try and reach higher before the ladder reset but since I canât be sure that Iâll have access to a stable net at my grandparents place thatâs probably the highest rank Iâll end up with pre-GvG.
Stormforged Axe is MVP in this rush meta though
I think Sniper is def strong, but only time will tell if too strong. I feel like unless we see some other beast synergies we arenât going to see much play with Druid of the Fang. Druid decks have gotten pretty lean and mean lately and I donât see why you would swap anything out for something that could just be BGHâd. Crackle is awesome at 4.5 damage on Average, its a cheaper lava burst! I expect to see this get alot of play. Also Malygod shaman w/Ancestral call is seeming more real now.
Its strong enough to completely cement Hunter into a control archetype, the good kind of strong. Bad news is that now we got the 50/50 mulligan mixups when we see hunter.
HmmâŚchances that GvG is released this week or next week?
There is an 8 hour update on Tuesday. Thats either release or release prep I would think.
Also yeah, though technically could be Cancer,Midrange, or control! Mulligan will be wayyyy harder now.
What is cancer? Is it face hunter, secrets hunter, or deathrattle hunter? Just any aggro hunter deck? Anyways it is probably a good thing for those that dislike hunter class cause gvg seems to be opening up more control and mid range possibilities.
Cancer refers to any deck with a low level of interaction.
For Hunter, cancer is generally the Aggro Hunter that still runs Leeroy and Shizz
I still didnât mind midrange hunter and hell iâd welcome control if it means more tools to potentially fuck over aggro.
