I think the problem with hunter is that mana efficient direct damage is a Mage trait, and hunter steps on their toes with kill command. But as a side effect, it pigeon holes hunter into beast decks as their only viable option (with undertaker making a special appearance due to the deathrattles)
Honestly if the new hunter card becomes viable, it will probably replace Animal Companion as a spell that summons the minion isnât going to benefit⌠might be a trade out. One card that summons a good value beast vs another card that has the potential for a better value beast. I dont see many decks running both. As for high cost beasts, you could maybe risk it with Core Hound, The Beast, Kodo, Tiger, Maexxna, etc. Most of those are pretty bad overall, but Tiger, Kodo and Maexxna would fit in decent with a midrange control deck. Having a kodo you can get out on turn 2/3 will pretty much guarantee value since it will kill a lot of early game drops.
Wow, ok so 2 more mana than a farseer for 8 health heal. So, if some decks come out where the extra 5 health makes a difference over the 3 mana heal, then this could see play pretty legit. Freeze mage is gonna have a much harder time hitting a 23 damage combo over a 15 damage one. It will probably take them an extra turn to kill you, which means not enough Ice Block to save them. So I can see this being a good tournament tech card.

Who makes a fuss? Though win straight up is a gross exaggeration. It is one of hunterâs stronger minionsâŚall 3 are good values. Balanced out by being random. If it was controllable it would be insaneâŚloekk on an empty board is underwhelming, if they have board control u want/need misha. HufferâŚwell at least u are getting 4 damage guaranteed.
So far Paladin is killing it in class cards. Both Muster for Battle and Coghammer are absolutely great. I just donât know if youâd play them in the same exact deck but thatâs fine. Now Paladinâs have two diverging ways to play on Turn 3 and theyâre both really damn good.

That heal bot screws over Rogue and Mage the most, wonât do squat to Hunters.
That paladin card seems really neat, cool to have multiple choices around the same mana cost.

Yeah, pretty much putting that Coghammer on Ancient Watcher is a win no matter what the opponent does. If they Silence it, Watcher can now attack. If they donât, they have to deal with a 4/5 Taunt with Divine Shield.
Iâm not seeing any downsides to the playâŚother than TBK I guess. Thatâs about as strong a Turn 3 as you can get.
I agree with the pimp I think antiquebot can be used to counter specific decks in tournaments, but I think it is unreliable for constructed. Farseerer allows u to heal hero or minion for 3 heal and it only costs 3 mana. If antiquebot could heal 8 to anything it would be a lot more useful.

With what we know now, I wonder just how stark the differences will be between Aggro Paladin and Midrange/Control Paladin.
At least you canât just auto-mulligan against Paladin anymore.
So with Paladin, it seems they are buffing his early game to stop him getting steamrolled by aggro and more options overall other than shock or standard control.
I wonder what they are going to give Rouge?
