You know… drawing a webspinner with that card would suck so much ass.
Would probably have to trim a webspinner. Mayyybe.

Man freeze trap is awesome. I finally got one, and put it into my hunter deck. First time it triggered was against druid’s ironbark protector. That’s gotta hurt. However…why does everyone hate on hunter?
That hunter card has awesome art…a sabertooth wolf!!? However it seems pretty sucky. Wasting 2 mana for a card draw…if u draw a spell or secret or weapon or non beast, u get nothing. If u draw a low cost beast it is still pretty worthless. Yeah the dream, turn 2 highmane can happen. However they are countless dream scenarios with certain cards that are never run cause it fails the consistency test.
Paladin card is awesome, I guess lights justice will become extinct (well it is almost there already).
Ah if only mech bear cat was a 6/7 instead. Then u don’t have to worry about BGH, and u basically have a better boulderfist ogre. I think it will still find its way into some decks.
Toshley is very good. One less attack than a boulderfist for 2 spare parts (1 guaranteed).
Actually the main source of hate isn’t so much Hunter (though it’ll be hated until the end of time) but Undertaker. It just happens that Hunter can use Undertaker the best because of Webspinner, Sylvannah, Haunted Creeper and so on. Undertaker in Hunter is like the Undertaker at Wrestlemania.
Hunter also gets a lot of hate because its really, really derpy to play.
Tigers are good, turtles are alright, tundra rhinos are potentially ridiculous if you have the right kind of deck. Dropping muklas and highmanes with charge would be hilarious.
They always have reach and double kill command gives you some kind of disease. Freezing Trap is also the best card in the game.
Kill command is 3 damage for 3 mana. Obviously most want to have a beast in play to get 5 damage. However that means there is an extra condition to get value out of it. Mage fireball is 6 damage for 4 mana which is probably a better value considering it gets the 6 damage regardless. Kill command is awesome certainly, however seems fine.
Freezing trap is an excellent secret, don’t know about best card in the game maybe best secret…though u freeze trap a low cost minion, it isn’t a big deal.
Undertakers are a staple in any deathrattle deck not just hunter, the webspinners gives hunter better odds to get the coin, 1 cost deathrattle minion, undertaker. BTW I think undertakers get way too much hate. I play 2 in my shaman deck, and it is almost all deathrattle minions (including all the low cost ones). That dream start doesn’t happen that often, most of the time undertaker is simply a 1/2. People remember the bad encounters where undertaker grows several times, and not the many times it was a non factor.
Hunter derpy? Buzzard is gone. U still got release the hounds and some combos u can do with it, but a lot of classes have shenanigans they can pull.
What is reach? (I’m not familiar with the term)
With webspinner, its a lot easier than before to meet kill command requirements.
On top of snake trap, highmane + tokens being a bitch to get rid of, etc… It’s somewhat rare to not have something to boost killcommand with and if you feel that you don’t, you just hold on to a low cost beast at the late game.
Well yeah…I just about always get the 5 damage off that card, all my minions are beasts. What do people use snake traps for now that buzzard isn’t used? Highmane is awesome definitely.
Still…is there no love for rexxar the hunter? I’m sort of surprised so many here seem to loathe them.

knife juggler, scavening hyena, timber wolf, combine any of those cards with it and you will eat LOT of dmg, many times meaning GG
or they’re simply tokens that also makes Leokk from animal companion great and much less situational, beast tokens that usually get ignored and get beastmastered, etc…
Also its great considering that a madscientist can pull a snake trap out without much worry if the explosive trap/freezing trap will be optimal.
btw, I doubt animal companion is random, if I have many minions I get Leokk, if I’m against low attack minions I get Misha, and when oponent is low in health I get Huffer, not complaining just pointing it out.
Yeah it’s not random
If you summon him on a empty field you get leokk, when you need a taunt to survive for next turn lethal you get huffer, and when you need lethal and leokk or huffer will get you that, you’ll get misha.
You can’t compare class cards like that, the damage is valued higher for Hunters because they consistently pump out more damage than mages. 5 Damage is also as sweet spot when it comes to killing high value stuff.
If you have to eat Freezing trap with anything that isn’t a token you’re most likely going to lose no matter which class you play.
I don’t get why you guys make a fuss about AC being random. 1/3 to win straight up 2/3 to get good 4 mana minions for 3.
Kill Command is also better value than Fireball. You pay 25% less mana to deal 20% less damage.
Additionally, the snakes from snake trap synergize well with Cult Master.
Kill command doesn’t always do 5 damage though.
The best thing you could get from that hunter card is a 1 mana tundra rhino, because then things get hilarious.
Already daydreaming about a mage deck centering around sorceror’s apprentice/tinkertown technician/clockwork gnome/toshley/antonidas.
lol that would be on hell of a combination. but it would be extremely difficult to pull off though
wow that is one paladin card with some fun potential!
many of the new cards seem a lot of fun!
what i’m worried about though is that the cards will be much better than the older cards as was the case with Naxx. Most likely it will be like that after the expansion just comes out, to gain more monetary income but I really hope they will balance the entire cardroster after the expansion as been out for some time. there are a LOT of cards you never see being used in the more serious decks and every class has only 1 or 2 viable builds with Warlock being the exception having about 5 or 6 (still) viable builds.
it would be great if we can see a lot of variety in decks. I’m sick and tired of engaging the same boring as fuck decks over and over again
