Yeah, i typically handle priests, but that one just had such an early game stranglehold i had no shot.
I have 2 rockbiters, 2 lightning, 2 forked lightning, 2 flame totems and 3 hex. It’s a little on the small side, which could definitely hurt against a deck with decent aoe. With all my removal, i should be able to stretch the deck for a few more wins I hope.

yeah but if you can maintain your tempo and just keep removing threats it’s no big deal. This sort of deck with a knife juggler, maybe some divine shield guys, and some unbounds can go really deep even while lacking high end.
Snuck in Kel’thuzad on my gimmicky late game secrets mage deck with belchers, sunwalkers, etc…
Got to turn 8 against a priest and played kelthuzad and traded azure drakes. Turn 9 he took some time and played a empty azure drake, healed himself and passed his turn. Thought it was suspicious so i played a sunwalker and layed down a counter spell.
He took the bait and got his mind control counter spelled.
So what the hell do I even put Cairne in?
I have him in Control Warrior, Shaman, and in Token Druid. Very flexible card

You treat him sorta like a sunwalker minus the taunt or just a super Harvest golem. Though sometimes a sunwalker may be better to have in hand than Cairne but anyways.
Works in priest/control paladin as well. Like Veserius says, it’s a very flexible card. You probably won’t want to put it in a aggro deck unless it’s deathrattle related, like say a deathrattle tempo priest. I shoved him into my ghetto handlock deck since i was lacking some cards and it works alright.
Cairne is a very powerful card that fits in to almost deck profile because of how cost efficient his stats are. Other than straight agro or specific builds you can find a spot for him almost anywhere.
Yeah Cairne can be good anywhere. The opponent usually loses advantage dealing with it, since it has to die twice. I really want to grab him as most decklists I see tend to run it
Only downside is that vs really aggressive decks he can be a bit slow if you can’t keep yourself out of clock/not die within 2 turns even after trading with Cairne. Otherwise he’s a beast that can potentially make some insane trading value. Especially with priest.
So you’re pretty fortunate to have such a great legendary as your first, especially gold.
That is a crazy good legendary to have around. That’s some good luck there! Fits in a lot of decks, can draw out removal or if ignored you can get massive value.
Well I’ve never played a card battle (strategy?) game, but hearthstone was free and making such a big splash so I decided to check it out a few weeks ago. I could see why a lot of people are so into it. You get the surprise thrill of opening new packs, and then using the cards you have build your own custom deck. Then use that deck you came up with against opponents and see how it fares. Saving up gold for naxxramas currently (I’ll be able to unlock construct quarter soon), then I’ll probably do arena to get packs.
For the newer players and those that didn’t do this already, check all the hidden quests for relatively free gold. Helps a shit load.

Oh those are the unique quests. I’ve completed all those you listed except for the ipad one and disenchant a card. I always do the dailies too (if not that day within the 3 day time limit).

crazier yet i found out that cabal was thoughtstolen from me
edit crafted sylvanas and made a deathrattle shaman deck. Went from losing vs a hunter to triple leeroy combo. Such a silly ass deck.
So far Cairne is serving me well. My basic ass Mage deck I used for a Quest only lost to Zoo because…well I have nothing for Zoo.
My friend just up opened up a cenarius. So in about 15 packs he’s got also got a sylvannas.
Think he can build an OK druid deck on the cheap with those 2 cards?
