Control paladin wrecks this week
definitely a much stronger deck because of the new 5 drops.
Really like being able to go from general lethal range and then slowly heal back to full and gain board control. Though itd be nice if i had a lay on hands to complete the deck.

This game is just getting shittier by the week, will most likely stop playing at this rate, shame.
I disagree completely. Nax has given us answers for Miracle, Leeroy, Savage Roar and, to a lesser extent, Zoo. It’s also given us a bunch of unique, awesome class cards that are changing the way the class is going to be played.
The Nax update was awesome and exactly what the game needed.
I like that, with this update, if you want to build a deck that completely fucks an archetype in the ass, you can do it.
Everything snowballs harder right now and there are multiple high impact rng mechanics that swing games way too heavily. Feels like I’m playing a different shape of Miracle-esque RNG battle in every time I queue up for a game.
Deathlord is the very example of high impact RNG, and it kind of kills my desire to play ranked.
Whoever said deathlord was toxic before was spot on. Way too rng heavy. That it can work in your favor is crazy. Oh your combo play? Ruined.
Death’s Bite makes the Control Warrior vs. Zoo matchup a 9-1 in favor of control. With two Death’s Bite, two Unstable Ghoul, and a Whirlwind, I never feel like I’m lacking in early game board sweep potential. Additionally, Death’s Bite combos really, really well with Armorsmith, Acolyte of Pain, and Frothing Berserker. I took out a Whirlwind to add in Battle Rage, and it’s working really well for some late game hand refueling.
Oh yeah, I played against a Zoo deck that dropped a Deathlord on me twice. First Deathlord pulled Acolyte of Pain (boo), but the second one grabbed Ysera. Well played.
Mind linking your deck? I haven’t built my new warrior yet with any of the naxx cards.

Gorehowl ended up getting cut for the second Death’s Bite, actually.
I cut one fiery war axe and the 5 mana cost weapon for Death’s bite. I also put the 2 minions that can summon Thaddius. Control warrior is pretty good right now.
Zoo is fucked. Zoo can’t even beat my ramp druid, unless I got a really shitty draw.
Do you have to buy the second wing of Naxx or should i grind out the gold for it? Spent like 3 hours just playing the game last night and i had to stop before my dog explodes from lack of a bathroom break.
I’ll be cutting my weapon masters and arcanite reaper for sure. I’m missing a lot of essential cards for a control deck, but it works ok with mid range modification.
