Not sure if MS changed this on the newer controllers since I have a 3-4 year old 360 but my headset has 2 plastic prongs that guide the headset into the standard joypad port. I cannot use this on the TE fight stick. So what headset am I suppose to use?

It should have came with an adapter for that type of headset.
How is this the wrong forum? Its the MK TE stick.
If the stick didn’t come with some sort of adapter, you may need to buy a new official wired headset.
The newer ones don’t use the plug in puck thing… just a jack. The volume controls are on…well i dont know what to call it…but … they’re there! 
If you’re talking about pdp’s fight stick I don’t know if it comes with an adapter, when I read TE I automatically thought you were talking about madcatz.

It’s called in-line controls, just an FYI.
And to the OP, yeah you’ll probably have to buy a new $20 wired headset if that stick doesn’t come with the plastic adapter clip.
