Inspired by a recent Wolfkrone-related spectacle, I’m wondering:
If I want to use headphones at Evo so I can for super duper sure hear what’s going on, what’s my best course of action?
Standard phones? AX720 hooked up to the optical out?
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think evo monitors have a headphone jack. So any spare phones you have should be okay.
Only question that comes in then is multiple users. Guess I’ll bring a Y-cable.
EDIT::: Other concern would be if one were on stream, how that monitor was connected. Suppose we won’t know until later if it’ll be HDMI’d or if we’d be looking at some sort of HDFury -> VGA split scenario.
The whole thing with Wolfkrone bitching about headphones had me a little salty to be honest. He’s one of my favorite players and he looked like a whiny little boy after he lost… /salt
