Something cool I noticed, not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but he looks to have three level 1 supers, meaning we won’t be having TvC style super set up? As in, everyone has two level ones and a level 3?
Skrull is looking very nice. I think the reason he’s dishing out so much damage is because he doesn’t have (at least thus far) a projectile. There are ALOT of good projectiles coming into this game (dante’s, deadpool’s, Doom’s, Chris’) so that kind of in your face damage output may be just what the doctor ordered against these guys. lookin like he’s gonna be the “get in and beat da SHIT outta them before they get away again” kinda character. Right down my Alley 
I’m just lovin how downright savage he looks and acts. those are characters that are fun to play as!
He looks great, glad he’s in and saves about 3(I dunno if people would have wanted Sue in or not, just counting Johnny, Reed and Ben) spaces without having the fantastic four in, plus needed more villains to the cast
Wolvie also has 3 level ones so it isn’t following the TvC norm.
He looks fine. Skrulls don’t really look “Pretty”. I would have liked them to use his more recent look though.
Elektra-Skrull looked pretty.
Anyone else notice that all 3 supers we saw were only lvl 1? I guess he has 4 or more supers.

His look is kinda dated by todays standards but atleast his fighting is sexy. I know people will hate me for this but a lot of Marvel characters just look retarded. Then again most of them are pretty old too.

I agree actually, and i love marvel. The thing is there using old models, there is no reason we should have a doom, wolverine or cap that looks like that. I guess they didn’t want to turn old school fans off that aren’t up to date with the comic’s. The only updated model we got on the marvel side is Iron man…
Not just old comic fans, but people who aren’t interested in the comics will probably recognize Classic Doom and CapAm more than their shitty new variations. Iron Man works because he’s still aesthetically very very similar to the old, a lot of people probably won’t even notice the differences.
Just look at the way his specials flow.

That said, the AWESOME heroic Super Skrull actually wasn’t with the others during Secret Invasion so maybe this one’s just a generic one? The whole “HE LOVES YOU,” thing is pretty awesome even if I kinda hated SI but it’s a bit out of place on the character.
If alternate costumes are in this game then we’ll probably get his more modern look as one. Because it is MANY times cooler.
I’m gathering it must be pre-Annihilation Super-Skrull, since the current, modern Super-Skrull isn’t exactly allied with the skrull anymore, so I doubt he’d be saying ‘He loves you’.
This happened with me. A friend of mine who knows Marvel very, very well ended up discussing the various small-detail differences between the various Iron Man armors and so on, since I only knew his older appearances and the one in MvC3 surprised me.
Anyway, as for the topic of this thread, Super Skrull… I am impressed with the premise. Not sure if I’ll be playing him or not, but I’m definitely glad he’s in the game; one more villain, and one with a very interesting game-play idea based on what was shown so far. Damage seems slightly excessive, but that’s probably just how it works in the build they were using; I’m sure that will be tweaked.
I also have a few friends who were eagerly hoping for the Fantastic Four but were gladly willing to accept a Super Skrull with their powers as a compromise. To them I say, congrats! Hope you’re even happier with his inclusion than I am. Now if only we could get The Punisher or Jubilee…
Wolverine’s costume is also Updated, they are using his Astonishing look.
He doesn’t look “Retarded”, he looks fine.
It’s a reference to the story and it’s a religious thing anyway.

Also, Super-Skrull was in Secret Invasion.
That said, he teamed with Nova to fight them and Super-Skrull was only on earth to find and kill his daughter(Who was traveling with She-Hulk at the time).
Jubilee is unlikely since she isn’t used that much these days(though she was turned into a vampire recently). Punisher would be cool, but Chris kinda fills the “guns” niche.
Ionno, his ground and pound super actually looks like it should have been his Level 3. It was cinematic and did butt-loads of damage. Maybe Capcom didn’t put in the values for it yet because the characters were rushed to be shown at Comic-Con.
Edit: This just in from the stream. Super-Skrull has an airdash, where he leaves flame trails behind him like Human Torch.

i totally feel the same vibe has you do just " rush that shit down" vibe. i wonder if wesker is indeed in the game if he follow super skull mold.
