If anybody is still confused how this is gonna work, the first player in every matchup will create a 2 player room and text his opponent (2nd player) to join him (eg. Vietnam1 will text UntitledNasFan). 1st players, please do this at 5 mins to the hour, and if you haven’t been joined within a couple of mins, send another invite. If still no response by the hour of (eg.10pm EST), text me saying “no show for username”. I will then text you your next matchup within 10 mins.
The winner of every set MUST text me that they won (just text username blitzfu if you haven’t added me or don’t have any space). The losers don’t have to text me. I will then text the winners and losers with their next matchups. If you get a text saying “invite so and so” that means you gotta create the room and invite so and so. If you get a text saying “so and so will invite you” or “you’re playing so and so next”, WAIT for the invite and don’t create a room by yourself. If you DON’T get a text from anybody within 10 mins of your last matchup, then text me.
If any disconnects occur, or if both ppl in the match claim to have won (especially matches involving Claw), there will be a rematch (up to 3 rematches for each disconnect). The previous matches that DID NOT disconnect will stand as is. On the 4th disconnect, both players are disqualified and the match will be invalidated, and the next opponent gets a free pass to the next round. Grand finals players, don’t forget that it’s gonna be best of 5 matches.
BIG THANKS to Mrsagat for offering to be a 2nd director, but it’ll be less confusing if I do this myself offline. Plus, I’m using the Tournament Maker software for this tourney, so it should be easier. BIG THANKS to MALK-TURBO for that. :wgrin: Here’s the link to that software, if anybody’s interested.

I will post all the matchups and results once the tourney is over (should be about 30 mins after the final), so check back here after the tourney for the results. I’m on top of my game ppl (tourney wise and SF wise), and things will be handled well.

what if some asshole lie n say they won when they didnt really win at all? i would like a mod in the room too…to be a witness if possible. i always run into assholes that like to log off after they lose.
i’m confused why me and krazzy are in the first match… we should be spread out as far as possible since we played in the finals last time, so please switch him with someone… unless u are not seeding for some reason… which should be done from the results from the last 2 tournaments IMO… if not then i guess its ok

If both players text me that they won, there will be a rematch. If there is still a dispute, the match is invalidated and both players are disqualified. Don’t worry, it hasn’t happened yet, and as previous posters mentioned, most SRKers are more honorable than regular PSN players.
I didn’t seed cuz it’s more fair to randomly matchup everybody. Plus I haven’t figured out how to do it yet with the software LOL. Meh, it’s just better this way I think. If I figure it out, we’ll do it for the next tourney.
DOUBLE ELIMINATION
The problem with the last tourney, among other things, was ppl leaving after a single loss. This is double elimination. You’re out only after losing to 2, count 'em 2, opponents. Do not leave until then. After your first loss, I will text you within 10 mins of your next matchup, so DON’T LEAVE. :annoy: Thank you.

Also need everybody to be patient if you’ve been waiting for your next matchup for more than 10 mins. You gotta remember that I’m not only running the tourney, but I’m also playing too. I know ppl get a little stressed from losing or waiting for the next match, but I’m dealing with 32 players and also the stress of my own wins/losses. So imagine what I’m going through. I wanna thank all the players in advance for their patience. This is gonna be the BEST tourney EVER!!
