I was playing on PSN the other day after my stick finally got delivered. I was surprised to find a good amount of players and decent competition on there despite the horrible net code. That said, I can’t believe people are still being anal about the ole’ “HDR Vs. ST” debacle. I played Mad_Zero on HDR and won an unofficial set Hawk vs. Honda like 5-3, around that. I told the dude GG’s and his response was basically I bet you’re a scrub on ST and can’t do any of the things you did here on there.
You know, for being a kid in comparison to pretty much every single ST vet out there, its blows my mind how people are still whining about this crap. I’ve been out of the picture for the most part for about a year and half, and this is what I come back to on my first day on HDR. The fuck…
Just ignore the bullshit and focus on your game. People always talk mad shit online so you can’t let it get to you.
Honestly, this HDR v. ST debate lives on only in rage mails and forum posts. No tournament player honestly gives a shit. It’s only important to continue to support both scenes as part of the SF2 community in any way that you can.
Nah, I got banned twice on XBL for talking shit, I know what that’s all about trust me LOL. Just don’t understand how some people aren’t over this yet. It really is time to move on and get into the game again.

The last time I was on GGPO (this was awhile ago) all Mad Zero did was talk about how “great” he was. He started running his mouth about me because someone on there said I was a good Honda player, I never even said one word to him, LOL. Of course I just let that go, very rarely do I let trolls real me in. I believe that if you are a good player it will show when you play and everyone will see it, if you have to announce it to everyone all the time then maybe you’re not really as goo as you think you are, LOL. Good natured smack talk amone friends is one thing, running your mouth to people you don’t even know is different. Jiggly, he was just mad because you beat him up, and beat him up in a match way in his favor, LOL. Typical hurt pride response, he had to tell himself something cause his ego was hurt.
To many Peacocks around trying to show their feathers and get attention. I keep thinking that since SF2 is the oldest fighting game that it’s community should be a bit older and more mature. I keep getting proven wrong, LOL.
I think most good players are past it, most good HDR players I know also play on GGPO. I’ve had someone (can’t remember who) say something similiar to me on PSN. Hilarious. It’s like losing to someone in SSF4 AE 2012 and saying, well, if this was just plain SSF4 I would have won, LOL. Good players are good players.
Yeah GGPO has too much of that shit going on, case in point CigarGirl who screen caps her wins and posts them in a photobucket account. Totally lame, plus it’s online wins what does it really mean in the end?
I may be old school but I equate it to the old football saying about touchdowns, “act like you’ve been there before.” You got players like Chad Johnson, who try to do the most ridiculous dance that they can if they score a touchdown (even if their team is down by 20 points) to try to draw attention to themselves. Hall of Famers like Barry Sanders or Emmitt Smith after a touchdown? Hand the ball to the ref. That’s what you call having “class.”
After playing a match of SF2, tournament, online, offline, wherever, instead of saying something stupid, how about, win or lose, a simple “GG.”
Don’t play vs Mad_Zero he’s a scrub everywhere, PSN, GGPO, XBL, Supercade, that loser plays HDR and ST everyday and he never learned something new and he never stepped up his game, don’t waste your time with that scrub.
It’s best to just ignore online warriors that mouth off too much. They’re like children. If you stop paying attention to them, they become more and more irrelevant, and will eventually shut up or go away.

I beat him in a sweet 1st to 10 wins years ago. I remember cause he said the same thing to me that he said to jiggly about if this was ST i couldnt do any of these things to him and how he was so great.
