I’m not gonna complain but payout was ass!!! I understand fees you gotta pay and what not but 1st getting less then $200 doesn’t seem right
so its like 30 dollar entry but like 25 or so dollar venue fee lol

Not sure how first got less than $200, but the $30 was for registration and 2 separate tournaments, so $1,200 was not the pot for either tournament, or even both combined.
I am not sure how the pay scale went for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Even if $10 went into both tournaments, the pot would only be $400 per tournament, and then divided among 4 top placers.
This, mixed with the fact that a % is being put aside from every GC tournament for the end of the season pot.

First got $180. Which means about $6.50 went to the pot from every one of the 40 entrants. Thats a little gross.
40 Entries, 360 total went into pot for SSF4 singles, thats about $9 out of every entry
^That would mean 216 to 1st in a 60% split and 256 in a 70% split. This did not happen. $180 went to first which means there was either $300 in the pot at a 60% to first; or $260 in the pot with 70% to first. Slash where did the $60-100 go?

Based off what I was given to give to the placers, it was something like 50/30/15/5 off rough percentages.
Ask Chris on that payout.

Okay. Well all makes sense with 1st gettin 50%. The thing that is messed up is 1st gettin 50%. usually payouts are 70/20/10 and to be nice and allow 4th a slice 60/25/10/5 would make sense but first getting 50% is supremely gross. I don’t really care since whats done done but for next time lets make the payout at least 60% to first.
Also details like this should be on the first page. Lets slowly work the kinks out and I think we can get something good going. I’m for more Seattle based tournaments since driving 6 hours both ways granted me the ability to play a total of 1 portland person twice in one of both tournaments.
Yeah, the payouts were a bit confusing, but I think a lot of details need to get ironed out. Unfortunately with a lot of events that are not at a not local business…there is a lot of dickery from the venues sometimes
