HDMI to VGA converters, a quickness advantage?

  1. Are there any <1 Ms lag HDMI to VGA adapters? If not, would it be futile to lose milliseconds on HDMI to VGA conversion in order to try and gain some back in CRT “draw time”?

  2. What resolution should I look for in a VGA monitor to get Xbox One. PS4, and Switch to have 60 hz, and the best resolution? (That is beyond 480i/240p)

  3. Is a master of one mode better than a jack if all modes for HDMI to VGA converters for consoles? If the first, how do I tell ones that crop, vs ones that chop, vs ones that squish. (Letterbox, zoomed in centered, horizontally compresser)

  4. I assume the Xbox 360 native VGA adapter let’s the console dictate the 16x9 to 4x3 conversion mode, and you can choose between those 3 options.
