I have SFAC on my PS2 HDD and the strange thing is that I can’t get versus mode in 3s to work, with or without mode 2.
I’m on HDL 0.8b.

i usually quit it play some sf II and come back to it and it usually works
You can just make an .8b image, put it on your hdd and launch it and load .8b like that instead of updating it completely. It’s much easier and since you dont have to use .8b all the time it doesn’t really matter. Its what I do.

biolink: os you got kof and NGBC to work with hdl? because last time I remember reading, it doesn’t work.

melty blood works if not try mode 3
i think last blade needed a file from 2k2 not sure
kofxi works with 0.7c so of course it works with the 0.8b
its just tricky and iffy, versus should run fine try mode 3

There’s 2 ways to fix Last Blade 2-in-1. 1st is the way Button_m4sh mentioned, which would be to extract the ISO (with ISOBuster) and rebuilding it (with CDGenPS2) after you replace the DNAS300.img (there’s 2 of them in the ISO after you extract it I think) file with the one from the European KoF2K2. That will let you pass the security checks that goes on after the logos.
The 2nd way is instead of replacing the DNAS300.img file, you rebuild the ISO after you edit the system.cnf file on notepad with this:
Now when you boot the game, it’ll go directly to the game select menu (skipping the intro and security checks).
PS: The 2nd method also works for Art of Fighting Collection, I hear.
just so you guys know someone is writing a new HD program for the Ps2 been in the works for a couple of years suppose to have near 100% compatibility and has Virtual Memory card capabilities… its called HDDemolisher
