HD Remix at EVO Japan?

Is it going to happen? I know the game isnt officially released there but I think it would bring a renewed interest into the game. It’d be fun to see what they do with the game over there.

That would be nice!

can snake eyez take it twice in one year?

this game needs a PROPER introduction in japan, and i think evo would be the perfect vehicle to do so.

It would be a joke if they did HDR instead of ST for EVO Japan.

perhaps, but that depends on if evo japan will be an arcade tournament or console. If its console then most likely it’ll be HDR, if there were to be a SF2 tournament in the game lineup to begin with. If its arcade then its obviously ST, problem is where are they going to get those cabs? How many cabs would they need to get if there were to run pools like they do here? and that depends on how many people pre register.

isnt KSK involved with the Godsgarden people?
he own the gamer’s vision that has cabs.

If its on Japan its only fair for it to be an arcade tournament.
There are stll some powerful arcades in the US, but the arcade scene is pretty much gone here. We would never be able to have another arcade evo in the US. Its impossible at this point, so EVO Japan is great chance to relive that again.

One thing though, I do feel that EVO Japan should have HDR even if Arcade ST is played too.

We can always hope.

Solely for the exposure of HDR it would bring to Japan.

Some Japanese players are already playing it on XBL such as Yuuvega and Gunze so it’s not an entirely impossible thing.

All of them play classic mode…

lol.

Sure they do.

Where would they get all the cabs? They have ST tournaments every WEEK in Japan. They have enough. Also I would bet there is zero chance there will be a single game played on a console. Again, it would be a JOKE if they played HDR.

Evo are going to differentiate themselves by making it a console tournament. Otherwise they will have to compete with SBO. So my bet is that you are completely wrong.

No point in discussing games before the format is announced.
