I think the idea could be ok, but I predict lots of Seth Rogan shouting and laughing obnoxiously loud for no reason. He works way better as a zany side character, he can’t carry a film on his own, IMO.

I am currently without a paid streaming service (I have Dplus and Prime for a year free due to my ISP and Verizon being nice).

But with all the HBO stuff which I never watched, new Looney tunes, and DC CW shows, I may be leaning towards this service even with the slightly higher fee.

It’s not gonna be the same without Chuck Jones and Friz Freleng directing, or Carl Stalling doing the music, or Mel Blanc doing all the voices.

I, at the very least, hope they keep all the violence.

yeah that’s the problem with Looney Tunes, imo— the people behind those old shows were so damn good…it set an impossible standard to match. Just on the voices alone… when Mel Blanc died, it was like those characters were forever silenced to me…because unless you get someone who can perfectly mimic Mel’s vocal talents, it has no chance of being that good again.

No one will know until it drops. I’m curious how close it will be to what was planned. I mean in addition to Darkseid, Green Lantern had small cameo as well. Plus WB/DC were demanding changes throughout production. Husky Affleck and Moustache Cavill were all a result of reshoots for example.
