Yeah. Book One was hella good. When they revealed that the train is build for people to transition through the 5 stages of grief I was like “yo, what?!”

Either they really think the Snyder fans are a larger population then those that would see the previous cut or Snyder got him a very good ally with money strings.
AT&T needed content for HBO Max. They knew the buzz it would create. I think this was more about bringing attention to HBO Max. Any further benefits would be a welcome bonus for them. Honestly, this “pro fan” move had garnered them a lot of positive goodwill from consumers. Sure the media is pissed but listening to them instead your customers losses you a lot of money.
Honestly I think the success of Joker had a lot to do with this. The media seemingly had it out for the movie. All those pre-release stories of the movie being a potential catalyst for violence. The way they went after Joaquin Phoenix. It got so bad that WB basically had to tell the press to kick rocks. In spite of that, it was massive hit. It out grossed Rise of Skywalker with only a 55 million dollar budget.

HBO put up the first episode of Raised by Wolves for free…limited time.
It’s a rare case of me having no idea of where the plot is heading. Premise is pretty cool.
