I got an email indicating they discovered an issue after sending out some orders, so there’s a setback.
Hmmm… I never got an e-mail asking which color I would like (just went back through all my e-mails for the past few months, and nothing). I’d love the clear ones, but if it’s too late to make the choice, so be it. I’ve waited this long, a little while longer won’t hurt too much.
More specifically it seems like they’re having an issue with the .110 adapters.
I received this too, but it mentioned 100 orders had been sent out.
Any idea when the initial supporters will be getting the keychain?

I guess I was one of the first hundred that were sent out! Here’s some pics and a short review:
FANTASTIC Packaging! Very Professional!
Extra switches and the adaptors.
Keyring - Also very professionally done.
My first impression was that everything was presented so well, so thought out, so… professional! The first few pictures were taken this morning, so I didn’t get chance to try them until about an hour ago. I was playing around with the key chain, just pressing it to test its feel and I couldn’t get over the sound difference. Much to my surprise when I was fiddling with the cap, I saw that it was a blue switch (Which is ‘clickier’ than the red ones.) When I actually had a try of the set… I was even more pleasantly surprised as they are a fair bit quieter!
In terms of sound, they’re MUCH quieter, they also have a much better… ‘muted’ click to them, It sounds better to my ear than the higher pitched sounding clack of a sanwa button, It does somewhat sound like a high end keyboard but the switches are the same so that kinda makes sense! Feel wise… I wouldn’t say they feel any different to a sanwa, the travel distance feels the same, I didn’t have to ‘change’ how I pressed them at all, they just responded really well.
The little adaptors however… forewarning for those who receive theirs soon… DO NOT apply too much force when putting the adaptor onto the cherry switch pins, the pins are very delicate and the adaptor seems a little… fiddly (Though I think that’s perhaps more the fault of the cherry switch having weak pins, If the ‘guides’ for the pins in the adaptor were perhaps a little more ‘accomodating’ to the pins considering they bend easily that may be a good idea. To allow for the fact that the pins might not be perfectly straight.) Though I see that Pei has halted production to remedy the adaptors which is a good thing! They’re not IMPOSSIBLE to put on, but it did take me a fair while and one switch losing a pin to realise that you had to be VERY careful. Thankfully I had a keyring that had an extra switch, and the 2 extra that are provided in the six button set.

Fantastic work, Pei! I’ll be interested to see what you come up with for the new adaptors, As I said, they’re fiddly, but not impossible to use.
Now just to wait for the 24mm ones so I can replace my start button!

11/3 is a typo? maybe it’s meant to be 12/3. Anyway it’s 12/4 here.
I’m just really worried, I ordered the 100 pack as I ordered for my scene down here as well. I’m going to Singapore to beat Xian in KOF* and I’m leaving in 10 days and wont be back until January, all these people would really appreciate the buttons before Christmas
