Having trouble dealing with dhalsim

There are some issues that I’m not sure how to deal with when I’m playing with a friend;
1.Teleport.A instant air teleport can be beaten by s.lk or s.hk but if he delay a little after jumping up,I found if harder because at that height these moves will lose and if I FADC to get away he will throw out s.hp,and focus after the teleport can face the right direction but can’t charge to level 2 before his s.mk comes out.So he can still get away safely.I tried to walk back so when he teleport I’ll be behind him and punish with PC or exPC,but it won’t work when I’m in the corner.In that case I’ll expose my back to him and both PC HS and SK cannot hit him.I have no choice but block.
2.Jumping back.When I’m on offense,he sometimes simply jump back and if I use DR or jump up,he’ll use j.mp to knock me to the ground.When I dash forward,he can hit me on recovery.If SK or PC comes out,he can do a back teleport in air and kick my head or a forward teleport to avoid it.Either way I got clean hit and cannot catch him.

well my noob advise:

push dhalsim to corner, his corner game SUCK ass, so if you push him to corner, he have to take some damage(and not really little) to get out of it.
if he like SLIDE, your cr.lk gonna beat it, clean, especially if he like to do those after yoga tower, but when he got meter, yogatower reversal is really scary so be careful your scissor kick pattern, use cr.MP to beat his cr.fierce, use st.lk/mk to stuff his kick/light kick move, use st.mp instead roundhouse can knock his teleport move almost clean unless he change the pattern.

  1. see what he like use, he using limb too much? stuff it with correct read, don’t FADC too much you gonna eat super set up for sure.
  2. if he get wise play defensive, then work on to push him to corner, and know your distance to do cr.mp, that move is incredible to beat and stuff a lot of sims limb…same with round house, it trade/sometime even beat sim jump limb.

don’t go too aggressive or too rush against dhalsim, you need MAD patient to play that game, see what happen when Neurosis get against lucky D, he is one of best bipson around but still have hard time if getting too many frustration or they play too defensive, you can’t get in, just like Akuma, if they CHOSE to totally refuse you (don’t even think about offensive, they focus 100% on defense, they know bison psycho powah so let it be)
YOU CAN’T DO ANYTHING if they refuse you, so being patient is mad important, if they want lame game, let it be, you want to win you have to check mate their defensive option and get in with your fast mix up for throw/counter/empty devil/head stomp throw/crossup psycho.
get in and get psycho damage, then PLAY THEIR STYLE! they will get piss so is your time to play what you best at, dynamic and counter.

push them to corner, they like jump back let them go, push them to corner and work on their escape option and beat it/surprise them.
once sim is LOCK DOWN in the corner, you can get some quick pressure and start your close game set up, show them your EX BOSS POWAH!
sometime you do need luck in your side, if mike ross is not there at least we have one Bison/Charging character in EVO

when I put him into the corner, I can do quite big damage,but how to put him there is a problem to me.situation 1 I mentioned above is a way I thought can deal with him without doing the corner pressure,but since I lack of solid anti air strategy, it seems not working well.I hope to improve it and since my friend and I are both noobs,I think doing this perfect can beat him.

sHK all day. Punishes his teleports like a boss. Bait the shit out of it. Make him afraid to teleport for fear of your boots. I dont see how you’re having trouble against teleporting 'sims. .

Try to avoid focusing fireballs in this matchup. Once you get in, don’t let off him at all. If timed well, you can usually hit him with a head stomp while he spits fire at you. Go with crossup PC’s on his wakeup.
