So as the title states I’m having some latency issues when playing with a friend from another region. I know this probably sounds like a really dumb question, but is there any way to reduce the amount of lag? She doesn’t seem to have any lag while fighting me, but for me she is blinking around and it’s pretty much unplayable. She has a computer rating C and I have rating A. We both have a good internet connection. However in the lobby we see each other either as 2 bars or 3 bars and it shifts around. When I’ve played the game against other 2 bar players I haven’t had much lag at all.
So wise heads of shoryuken! If you have anything that can help, I hope you’ll opt to share your wisdom!

It seems that the “teleport” type of lag is caused by a lower end pc spec and not a bad connection, and it seems that the rollback mechanic in the netcode adjusts this in favor of the person with the weaker pc. In other words, I think it leaves the image on the weaker pc alone, and adjusts the stronger pc’s visuals to the weaker.
@Olmond, when the last PC patch (ver1.02) was due to come out it was leaked about a week before it wend officially live. With that in mind the PC version of 1.06 was leaked recently too so it is reasonable to assume it might be released soon. If it helps with the netcode is something still to be seen so cross your fingers like I am =)
