im a ken player and i use d pad (ps3) and i just cant do hit confirms i dont know what it is examples for what im trying to do is cr.lk cr.lp cr.lk H.dp cr.lp cr.lp cr,lp H.dp and combos like that

To answer your question, a hit confirm is a combo designed to give you enough time to see whether the first/second hits hit or not, so you know whether to use the ender (the DP in the combo above). To practice them, go into training mode. Put the dummy on random block. Practice finishing the combo if the first parts hit, or stopping if they don’t.
If you’re having issues getting the DP to come out, turn on input display and see what you’re doing wrong. You may also want to read the execution sticky in the newbie dojo.
You might be trying to cancel out of the last cr. lp. You can’t cancel out of chains, you have to link the DP, or end the hitconfirm with another button before cancelling into DP.
