Hey guys, I’m new to the thread, what’s the community like in Lafayette? Any regular places to play? I’ve gotten some games in at Gaming Lounge but usually when I go there it’s mostly FPS setups.
nah bro…gaming lounge has those big laggy tvs…we usually just run casuals, although there is a tournament in Baton Rouge tomorrow night…7ish at gameware on college…usually a huge turnout, ssf4ae, mvc3 and mk9 i believe…you should come out! its always fun! and you meet some awesome people!
Just a quick rundown for Gameware tomorrow night. Is there anyone that would be able to bring another monitor for an MK9 setup? I’ll be able to label it with noninvasive blue tape to keep track of equipment. So far, I’ve got 2 setups each for MvC3 and AE, and one for MK9. Worst case scenario is that I keep MK9 on the one setup and switch out a monitor for the second PS3 available.
edit: I heard that there will be food/coffee trucks as well as homemade brownies. Extra incentive imo.
I find out tomorrow if I’m cleared to go to evo from work, then i’ll buy a ticket, just need a room.

Anyone in the Monroe area not going to Gameware can come up to the Atrium Hotel for Friday Night Fights. It should be starting in about 45 minutes and will run until everyone gets tired of playing.

It just started up. Last week was our first meeting. And yeah, the Atrium on Louisville Ave (across from Popeyes). As far as where are there scenes in monroe, aside from friends meeting up at houses, I think Friday Night Fights is the first public meeting. There is supposed to be a tournament soon at the Play N Trade in Swartz in a gouple weeks though.

Yes, weekly meetup. Every Friday at 6:00pm. No fees. Just show up. We should have 2 set ups each week. I know I’ll be bringing my xbox each week
