I woke up today with the money refunded in my paypal account. They sent me an email saying the reason it hasn’t shipped is because it is out of stock (it says in stock on their website, and has for days). They also said they have shipped many HRAP3 worldwide and are not a fraudulent website. The only reason I ordered from them is that they led me to believe they had it in stock, which they didn’t. To me, that is fraud.
In any case, I have my money back, and don’t plan to do business with them again. They only responded to my emails once I filed a complaint with paypal.
filed my complaint this morning. Got it from play-asia instead. I was already annoyed when I got the SQL error and they actually ACCEPTED my money, despite receiving no order from me. Why would you do that?
Can i ask you how refunds work on paypal? Did you find the money in your paypal account or your bank account (assuming you used your bank/credit card THROUGH paypal) ?

I’ve just lodged a PayPal dispute to retrieve my money.
ive ordered from them a couple time and it seemed legit. i got a white gcn controller recently. shipped fast and everything. i thought they were awesome honestly. its prob just cuz theyre hraps. although im kind of alamred that so many of you have been jipped.
I never said they weren’t legit, and I don’t think they try to rip anyone off.
It’s just that they list the HRAP “in stock” when it’s clearly not in stick, and they don’t even have an ETA when it’s back in stock. If they would have answered my emails about the stick, it would have been fne by me.
But listing something “in stock”, and NOT replying to emails hoping that the customer doesn’t care and is going to wait for his shipment, THAT’s a dealbreaker to me.
So I do think they’re legit, but I also think they have a horrible customer service.
They told me the matter has been handed over to accounts and i should receive a full refund soon.
I’ll keep this thread going for a while to warn others.
I don’t think the site is an outright scam or anything like that.
However, as far as I can see they list having items in stock, when they don’t, assuming they can retrieve the item and send it to you. Then they have trouble doing this (i wonder why!).
This in itself is horrible practice, but I also feel they lied to me. They told me in several emails that they were “retrieving it from their warehouse”, making out it’s their stock. Unless retrieving an item from your OWN WAREHOUSE takes 2 weeks, then I don’t think I believe this excuse. I feel I’ve been lied too and my time severely wasted. On top of that the items are listed as “in stock” and are said to “usually ship within 24 hours”.
I tried to call them a couple of times, no response, although this could be due to timezone issues, no one picked up the phone.
Many of the emails I received were rather unprofessional and the “tone” of some of the emails seemed to make out that I was being unreasonable by requesting further information and asking exactly what “soon” was supposed to mean. All my emails were very polite so this was unprompted.
I’d suggest anyone else that has an outstanding order on a similar item with this company, or is waiting a long time for another item, cancels and receives a refund.
I’d also be wary of the fact that they accept payments without orders, as when I made my order their site returned an SQL error, so the funds were sent but the site didn’t recognize what I was ordering. They happily accepted the payment anyway (did they think it was Christmas or something?) and only actually put my order up when I contacted them.
I’m sure they do ship out some things, but you just have to get lucky, which is a game I’m not willing to play with my purchases.
Apparently they like to list items as in stock when they are not, in order to entice you to order them. Then they expect you to wait for weeks (months?) until they get the item in stock to ship to you. I’m not going to gamble as to whether an item is actually in stock. The status listed on their website should match up with reality. Any site worth their salt keeps their stock listings up to date, and doesn’t mislead customers.

It seems like I am the only lucky guy which get HRAP3 from games-asia. What i did was to send them email and got confirmed that hrap3 is in stock before i placed my ordered.
Though i was a bit earlier to ordered before you guy’s, maybe that was the last one left which i got I placed my ordered last month 18.jun and it took about a week til i got my hrap3.
