Keith keeps telling me that my TV lags, which should be impossible considering it is all HDMI connections going in. So ps3/xbox go to the receiver and then to the TV with HDMI. If it were any other signal I would believe it, but nothing is being converted up to 1080P since the signal resolution matches the native one from the TV.
That being said, I will look into it. I admit, it took me like a 2 weeks to get used to the size of the screen. Maybe that has something to do with it?
Pablo, I don’t know, can LCD’s lag on their own even with a digital signal, just the refresh rate? It wouldn’t affect movies which stream continuously but you’d notice it on a game.
I swear that night late at night where me and Mike B were forcing you to let us play HDR on your TV, I swear I couldn’t get any reversals off, and reversals are playskool on HDR. It really felt “different” control wise, beyong the fact that Zangief is bigger than my torso.
It shouldn’t lag at all.
UPDATE ON TVz
So I did a few tests, and I noticed that Gief wasn’t moving the instant I moved the stick. Then I went into guitar hero and did a lag test. Lag was about a frame, just enough to fuck shit up for us. Turns out, I had chosen some goofy ass video setting on the xbox itself. It was outputting to a lower resolution than I should have been.
Bottom line is that it’s fixed. Thanks for bringing it up. I guess I adapt well, too well for some. Don’t worry guys, I will still fuck people up with Gief. Ticks in your face all day, fuck your DP.
