Have you guys seen ken do the j.mk (crossup) s.hp, Dp.lp then do the CC. I’m having a hard time doing it over Ken can anyone give me timing before I use the HP+HK.
just when they are about to hit the floor, or watch ken recover, right when u activate hit hk hk then follow up to whatever u wish.
Take bison in training. Do a scissor kick in the corner and then activate off of that. You’ll notice that you need to activate ‘fairly’ late and then you have tons of time to jab.
Apply the same to Ken. Dp…wait until the opponent is at your shoulder level or lower, then activate, jab xx dp OR just plain dp…
Ic… i try that on my DC. Thanks
You can do close dp+LP, CC, d.HP xx roll, juggle sequence to the corner actually. The d.HP has suprising horizontal range, plus it’s really fast with only 3 frame startup as well.
Who the heck randomly combos into a dp+LP though? Unless you’re walking into point blank range and totally committing to a dp+LP (which is unsafe if you guessed wrong), or you’re using dp+LP as anti-air (which is a poor choice for anti-air against anything other than K-groove and in which you would of been better off going straight for the anti-air CC anyway), I rarely see anybody pulling off a dp into CC like it’s easy or something.
The only setup I can think of is get a knockdown, then hit confirm a cross up j.MK, dp+LP combo.
Until somebody actually beats me up with this, I’m classifiying this tactic as some useless training mode/combo video gimmick for now.
After playing ken numerous times I think its impossible doing this in a game. Tension always built up, what happend is after the shoryken move I’m really hesitating doing the CC because it will be a waste if i miss the CC.
