I was in a situation like this with a guy in the 8th grade. He wasn’t racist or anything he was just a “bully” (and that’s in quotations because he was beta as fuck and only thought his balls dropped because he grew a couple inches taller than me over the summer). Just like the asian guy, bullies are trying to incite a response (theirs being fear and submission). The guy would antagonize me and I just ignored him, literally treated him like a ghost. He would say something and it was like I hadn’t heard a word; I wouldn’t even look his way. I’d be walking with my friends, he’d come talking and I’d walk around him and continue to laugh and chat it up with my friends.
Eventually I guess he realized there was absolutely nothing intimidating about him and I hadn’t heard from him since. Now lets go back to the white and asian dude. If through all this non-responding the asian dude is stupid enough to fall into his own trap because he isn’t getting the response he wants and proceeds to grab and get aggressively violent, DINGDINGDING now you got the green light to put his ass to sleep and you have self-defense on your side.
This isn’t some complicated strategy or some shit that took me a long ass time to come to conclusion of its just ALWAYS easier for people to resort to the first basic reaction of anger and violence in situations like with the asian dude. The multitude of phrases we learn over the course of life tell us not to. “Cooler heads prevail.” “Be the bigger man.” etc. Regardless of how simple it is the former is always easier because its reactionary, coupled with people wanting to puff out their chest and look tough.

I can do both. First thing I’d do is have my girlfriend film it, then casually incite the other guy to hit me. And I tend to know what buttons I should push. After that, if he’s not armed he’s going down. Self defense and all that.

The problem with getting into a fight is that you never know how skillful/desperate a random person could be, which could end up costing you big time. Not saying herp face was any sort of threat, but some people willingly start shit just to fuck shit up (when keeping it real goes wrong). The other scary thing about getting into a street fight with no backup, is that the other person can basically do whatever it takes to win since most bystanders will do fuck all. You could be fucking a nigga up until all of a sudden you’ve been kicked in the balls/headbutt/eye gouged and now you’re on the ground getting curb stomped, because a lot of people have no regards for life once they are angry or humiliated.
NO MATTER WHAT fighting should be a last resort, not because you should be ashamed of losing, or because people tell you violence is wrong (it kinda is, but it’s human nature), but because it can quite literally and easily ruin/end your life. Especially with how everything is recorded and spread so quickly nowadays, you have a high probability of ending up on WSHH or some shit and now the whole world is roasting you (if you lose) or making it hard to find a job.
I’m not saying you gotta act like white dude and single-handedly take away everything a person has (pretty fucked up over some shit talk), just don’t be a dumbass and let your pride get in the way and possibly mess things up for you.
