@"Blue Lightning" I personally found K-Brad’s method pretty bad. For cr. mk > LP hands I use hp mp lp mp lp, you just roll your fingers and IMO it’s pretty easy to do
Won a match at a tournament against a Dudley from simply doing that over and over lol
On another note, does anyone have recommendations for doing st. hp > cr. mk > hp hands?
I don’t really have a problem doing cr. mk > hp hands on it’s own, but in that combo since there’s a 1 frame window, I like to plink the mk with lk, but after plinking it I find it hard to get the hands in on time. I know I could plink it with lp and then press 4 more punch buttons but personally I find that really awkward to hit… maybe I should practice it? How do you guys do it?
I stick to cr.hp cr.mp, cl.hp cr.mp, and the 3 medium normaal combos or considering cl.hp is usually after a dizzy I’ll just go for focus > stomp > spiral > dp.
More like I’d consider it important to learn and practice till you get it, not if you can’t do it immediately you should quit. Which is how you sounded at least to me.
Nah that’s not how I meant it. I just don’t think it would be very rewarding to play a character whose tools you’re not willing or able to learn to use to their fullest. Like, trying to play Honda without hands can’t be very much fun either. If you really want to play Decapre, you gotta learn hands or you’re gonna have a bad time. If you don’t want to learn hands, pick a different character.
I still think it’s better on a stick, I can do it on both, I’ll agree to disagree. Put it this way, it’s obviously very doable on pad there is no reason you can’t play the character on pad. It’s really not that hard was pretty much the first combo I learned in sf4 with honda lol
