School started now, just last week, but I might be able to make it out to stuff in the future.
If there is anything that happens on a weekly/monthly basis, that would be good to know.
Much like you forgot about this thread, the entire local FGC forgot about SRK (explosion of Facebook), except, they never came back… so to start, you should go where they went and join this group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/217040528309206/. You will get event invites to local fighting game tournaments and whatnot, and you’ll also be able to see who’s gathering to play and where. If that link doesn’t work, just search for the group “SoVA: Fighting Game Community.” You can continue to post here, but most likely, I’ll be the only person who will see it.

More Info: Sometimes, the players will run a free tournament or 2 dollar entry tournament in USFIV or UMvC3, depending on interest, but mostly it’s just casuals all night. The walls are plastered with TVs that the bar allows players to freely use, but they lag somewhat, so people generally bring their own setups.

Date: Events are usually held on the weekend, but people will oftentimes gather there on random days of the week and play casuals.

More Info: The lounge has several Asus monitors coupled with xbox 360’s for players to freely use, or players can bring their own consoles and use the monitors. There are hourly and daily rates to use the lounge; however, there are two Monthly Membership Package options (highly recommended) -
