Maybe Mohawk would stand a chance if I sided with them. 
The dude that plays Yun, Ken and Ryu is just too good.
There’s also this other guy (dunno if he goes to Mac or not) that ocassionally plays there (usually shows up with this hot girl) who has an awesome rushdown Ken.
Then there’s Warren (sp?), a parry-fiend with an annoying/dangerous Hugo, also has a nice Ken.
Those three is enough to take on all of Mohawk’s 3S players. 
But then again, Vince is always all talk, but no action.
i would like to see this “action” you speak of.

That’s not the point though…maybe Mac would take it easily but then again, I think both sides should do it just to have some fun, meet new players and most importantly gain some experience in an event that actually puts pressure on you to win.
I’ll actually give Vince credit, he went to the Orbit tourney and played Necro and caused a couple people some headaches. When he lost, he never made any excuses or anything. So I wouldn’t say he’s no action or anything. At UN and in casual, he played against me and others in AE and CFJ without any fear…
Even if this 5on5 idea falls through, I hope some Mohawk people go and represent at this tourney at least…
I suggest we put best of mac vs mohawk for CVS1 bitches 
this is a good idea to get more of the SF people together to play…only questions are…who decides who gets to represent each school…who is eligible to play(only mac/mohawk students) and where will it be played at

nice…which reminds me…when these tournys happen you have to get those machines put on event mode…without it on the tournies drag as it is a pain to switch sides after a loss or to kill of the game for the next people to play

a top 3 should be instantiated instead of a top 6 - one spot for each game. it should be “king of the hill” style where whoever is on top can be challenged by the others below him. or perhaps a ladder-style ranking system where you can only challenge a person 1 or 2 spots above you and thus work your way up. either way, a voting system seems kind of unrealistic.
I should be reaching Hamilton by 2:00pm and hanging for a few hours.
gen.doodz not sure who you are… but… that seems like a good idea… i’ll run it by Geese (illusionsofoasis.com owner) and see how that works… we’re trying to figure out how that will all come together.

Hey, I never said it was a bad idea or anything.
This would be a great thing if it ever came into fruition, it’s just that, you always see Vince making these kinds of plans and challenges, but never falls through with them (that’s what I meant by “no action”).
Although, now that he works at the Cove, I can see events like this becoming much more probable.
So, hopefully it will happen.
And I’m just stating what I think the outcum would be for this 5 on 5 thing.
I mean, even Bob and Jeff (whom are fairly new to 3S) would do well at Mohawk, if they were to play there right now.
But the other guys I’ve mentioned, they know their shit and their executions is tons better than what you would see at Mohawk.
That’s just my humble opinion, though.
Someone’s gotta start hyping shit up…hehe.
Oh, I hope to see some folks at EG today (still not sure if I’ll have the car, though).
