Eh… they deserve more credit than that. Some of these guys are already becoming heavy hitters in respective games:
Jaime: Solid CvS2 player but seems to crack under tourney pressure. Definitley way up there in OG games as he’s done very well every time I’ve seen him play AE. CFJ tourney he placed 4th using OG tactics.
Rey: Top 16 in CvS2 at T5 speaks volumes for his talent. Solid 3S player though unproven in tournament settings outside of Hamilton.
Vince: Gained the notice of a few players on Saturday with his Necro. Always a good 3S player and will continue to improve with the time he has off and frequent practice.
These three stand out to me more than the rest. Vanny, Jimmy and John are all very good CvS2 players but are missing that little something that takes them up a notch. The 3S pool of players is too dense right now and I don’t know who really stands out.
Hamilton reminds me of Brampton around 2 and 1/2 years ago. Lots of drive but you guys have the benefit of a massive pool of players compared to the six we had/have. I hope all you guys step up in 2005 and make everyone take notice.

I’m coming back to Hamilton for Xmas a couple of days, if there’s any casuals or something coming up, I’ll see about making it. If not, maybe I’ll drop by EG or something or whatever…

I really wish that CFJ tourney could have continued or finished. Not saying I would have necessarily won or anything, but I would have loved a shot at finishing higher than the projected “4th” even if it meant having to face Jay’s fucking Gief which was giving my BS Rose some problems in casual. Oh well, hope there’s another CFJ tourney down the road sometime cause I seriously do like the game despite its flaws…

What was the official ranking for 3s i want to know how i finished. I thought i did pretty good but, i also think i had an easy bracket .

Hey, join casuals at Vince’s tm, Dec 22! Or well, I think he is having it if the weather calms down a bit and ppl can find rides. I still want to have that challenge with you since my time at UN got cut short. I’ve been practicing more chun after watching that JS Master guy play… oh my god, he’s my hero 
… anyways, I need more practicing more than just the usual group of guys 'cuz while my time out in Toronto, I knew I sucked, but didn’t know I quite sucked that much. I’m too used to playing against the same ppl, itz a bit predictable and I can catch on to parrying patterns. Just before tourney started, had a round with some guy… notedly on my first attempt to back-fierce, I got an asskicking, and on my second attempt, I was already dead. And I didn’t even get my first bar charged until the end of the 2nd round (was on 3 rounds before tourney’s started I believe…). It was really sad… on top of the usual sadness. How I will never go out and play in Toronto again… :shake:
