After sorta getting bored with Reach I realized I was Colonel Grade 1 with about halfway till Grade 2. Spent the past week just doing challenges and 1-2 matches. Now I’m at Grade 2, and no will to continue.

Do you have to finish firefight in order to get the points for a challenge? I finished one (kill 10 enemies with grenade launcher) and then left before the end of firefight. I’m pretty sure I didn’t get the points.

after playing a bunch this weekend: i think elite slayer is the most hilarious and silly time i’ve had playing reach

everyone pretty much takes the best loadout: needlers (faster than repeaters) & armor lock (to avoid getting stuck) and things just go crazy with pink needles & stickies flying all over the place

and since the focus rifle sucks you don’t need to worry about some random guy with jet pack in a spot they shouldn’t be able to stand on just instant killing you from across the map (oh hey asylum)

I actually think Combat Roll is better then Armour Lock.

I love mobility over shields any day.

Also, I just bought the maps and a new controller. I’m back in this game, feeling pretty motivated to play.

Is anyone still playing this game? Has anyone bothered with the Defiant Map pack? Looked dull so I haven’t gotten it yet.

And, Did you guys know they added a “Team Classic” Playlist in Matchmaking? It’s awesome, all the great Halo 2 maps have been recreated and the damage values on weapons and grenades have been tinkered with to come close to the older games. Shit is my new crack.
