I hope the maps are as good as halo 2. So far im hyped for it!

Pertaining to being stuck on the ground with the only Y Axis movement being bunnyhops and dolphin dives. Jetpacks add an actual Y Axis to the playing field.

I saw a few months back, (it might have been at the VGA) there is a new FPS game for PC set in space so you have complete 360 degree movement. Can’t remember the name 
Unfortunately, yes. Tribes was a great series, but it ruined the FPS genre for me.

That looks very, VERY fun. And yo, Halo with a goddamn RUN function…FINALLY! That and loadouts making me smile.
Day 1 buy
As soon as I saw jetpacks I immediately thought of Tribes as well. I think the last time I played that game I had a dialup modem.
Anyway the game looks much faster pace which I like. I liked playing Halo until I played CoD4 and everything just felt faster but, the way the game looks now I am interested how the final product will be.
Game looks amazing. Cannot wait to play the beta, then get the game in the fall. I also cant want for the COD/PS3 fanboys to trash the shit out of this game.

Looks like a lot of fun. I’ve grown tired of the constant Call of Modern MAG Bad Company 2 games, and have stuck to TF2 for all my multiplayer shooter needs. Halo Reach seems to be exactly what I was looking for. Can’t wait!

I would be interested if they had some sort of “Halo Classic” mode. Too bad that’s not going to happen.

What do you mean “Halo Classic mode” , if you weren’t aware, Bungie have been saying for a long time now that they’ve gone back to the style of the original Halo CE.

i’ve been a huge halo fan from the start, but this one honestly looks ridiculous.
doesn’t matter how many new flashy weapons they add, there will only be 1 or 2 that are actually practical and win matches. these will be focused, everything else will be more or less ignored.
interesting how they seem to be incorporating elements from Gears of War and Modern Warfare 2.

I was surprised to see loadouts, but the roll I for one have been asking for since Halo 3. Getting splatters is too easy, and the AI in the game can roll to avoid getting run over. It would be cool if you can use the roll to dodge melee attacks, Sword gametype will be a lot of fun!
