True, but if your fast enough, you can get a full invincible lk though. Other ones will only get you a slightly invincible move. And it may not even reach active frames.
I was expecting something more like “Damn you grab a lot” or “Damn you suq” lol. I don’t feel like I slide too much. Maybe a lot but I really feel that’s the fastest way I will learn when it’s good and when it isn’t. I don’t really consider damage when I play as Hakan, only what I think will work. I’ve only been taking Hakan seriously the last week or so.

c.MK, s.HP, and c.HK all come out in 8 frames or less, and all three have obvious benefits if you can pull them off. :3

I dunno much about Hakan, but are any of the combos from 0.33 to 0.55 useable? The first one is supposed to show a possible set-up for U1, I don’t believe that it combos if that’s what it seems like

Nah you can only combo into U1 from focus crumple. I’d say the 2 with the focus attack resets into F.HP/F.HK are totally usable. I’ve yet to experience using it in a match (since most players just want to stay the hell away from me) but you could probably use FA1 after absorbing a normal when oiled, then DNC for better damage, or to EX Rocket/normal throw.

hey just a note the Japanese player who’s videos are posted on page 5 continues to update them regularly and it’s interesting to see him evolve as a Hakan player even though he plays a lot of bad players
DNC = Dash normal cancel? Because I always try to punish with lv.1 FA to f.HK when oiled.
yeah I don’t know what all DNC links after an oiled FA1. when you said you try to link FA1 into f.HK, are you successful, or dropping it?

An online casual. I’m not really a great Hakan, but it’s a fun match to watch. Especially in the second round, where I fuck Hawk’s dive up with coward crouch > U1.

I know I suck and I did a lot of noobish stuff. Valid criticism is welcome. Chewing me out will get ignored though. I’m doing this for all of the characters since I want to be super awesome with the entire cast instead of just insanely super awesome with my main. I should have done a bunch of j.MP into ultra instead of j.HK all day though, I know that for sure.
my main goal with hakan is to be oiled, i will take risks such as guestimating willy nilly slides and dash 360’s to get oiled, once oiled, i try to rush in and play the grapple game, annoy with pokes and condition blocks somehow so i can get 360 throws
do you guys find 360 k useful? cause i hate using it, but i think it needs to be used sometimes
btw ultradavid, ryan (letbloodrun) told me you’re a big hockey fan, i am myself and am from the bay area so rooting for sharks obv. i’m going to be in socal for an internship for 2 weeks in a week, wanna get a beer/watch the game?

not my video but one of the worst matches ive ever seen, that hakan player was the ultimate scrub and he managed to beat a decent rog.
and that doopliss video is fucking obscene, hes the man, that reset looks awesome.

I’m just really not sure what you were going for in round 1, but that Rog was very good, props for beating him, even if it was once out of 1000 times haha! Stick to it and you’ll see results!
Ha ha yeah, every time I grab from a distance that is me trying to oil slide. Hakan is the only char I seem to ‘accidentally’ 360 with. Didn’t help that I got all palm-sweaty seeing that guy’s PP and BP after an hour of losing. 
But seriously, some great tutorial vids on using a stick and buffering and such have really helped; been practicing a ton since those vids. Here’s one that was a bit later than the Boxer fight, but I felt I played a lot better (still scrubasaurus though!):
