The move can be delayed by holding the kick button down. So if you do the move normally and don’t hold the button he immediately does the lunging air grab.

Would you say he’s a pretty good character overall?
Can’t say because I have no info on the final build, but I’m betting he will be mid tier at best. Great normals especially when oiled up, great FA, great ultra, not so great specials, terrible jump. But he is really creative and I bet all sorts of crazy shit will be figured out for him, especially considering his oil up properties.
