where has that been confirmed that Makoto is top tier? I’m curious how people can deduce these predictions without actually playing the game. I know there are testers out but really? I’m liking Hakan more and more. He seems a bit like Hugo fuerte and blanka at the same time. with special properties after he is “oiled up”.
Amn all the new character/returning characters look really good. So far i’m eager to play all of them except Dee Jay. not a big fan of the charging principles.

This. Regardless of tiers I’m playing El Fuerte and Hakan. I like grapplers, and these two have everything I like in a character: Personality, movement, and throws.
game hasn’t been played at a competitive level, why are tiers even being mentioned.

Not gonna lie Hakkan Seems really pretty good. Just oil up safely and he will be beast. A lot of people don’t seem to like him but I am a fan actually. I don’t play grapplers cause I suck with em and Hakkan won’t be an exception but I am really happy with his look. His stature and design are unique if not a bit goofy.
Really I think Hakkan will wreck face. His U2 Looks to be the anti air god of all and a few of his normals look really solid. That slide will be good at getting past FB spammers no doubt.
seriously deciding who is going to be top tier or not before the game is even out is just plain stupid. We are not going to know until the game is actually out and released to the public.

i can honestly say i hakan was not what i was expecting in the slightest, in terms of actual look and his moves etc. hes definatly more of a ‘joke’ character really. i was expecting more of a kinda serious look to him to be honest. not sure what i think of the kooky sound effects he has as well esp on his super.
def not gonna be a main for me and i hope he doesnt end up being overplayed as well. although i doubt hes gonna be as user freindly as gief or ryu is.
