In fact they had to give me 2-1 odds in order for me to play smooth viper. I also asked them to spot me 1 game which they agreed to, until I ocv'd him that first game. After that match which was preceded by several others, I was tired after having played several back to back matches and I didn't want to play. I told you this. You still begged to play me. I begrudgingly agreed. All the talk of you being too good was before I raped you (no thanks to JWong's Coaching). After the match (which my friend has recorded drama and all) you claimed "Play me 1st to 10 without the 1 button dash, and you won't win 1 game." I said bet it several times. Do you contest that? To clarify what I said in my post. Button mapping in general is cheap. In this marvel situation its not worth it. It is too easy to exploit the lack of assist or assist 1 snap back. I don’t play on stick on console because console sticks suck. I used golden nismor’s stick and that was the closest to arcade I’ve ever felt.
To make it easier to understand… In 3s, one can button map and not lose anything. I could easily button map my L1 as a throw. Or an akuma player could button map an all 3 punches. Which makes his level 3 much easier to execute at the end of a combo. That is cheap. Now if they had to give up say a cr. forward to do it then I wouldn’t say its cheap. I’d say its not even an advantage. You try playing mvc2 without an assist 1 and tell me who is at an advantage? Now you might ask “if it’s such a disadvantage then why do yo do it?” Simple. Mas stick is a disadvantage. Its such a disadvantage that in 2k5 I almost lost to rena morris or however her name is spelled. Not that she isn’t a decent player, but I was that bad on a mas. I’ve always been horrible on stick, but I can get by on arcade. On a pad with both assists (ps2 version) I’m unbeatable.
People talk so much trash about DPC yet he can rape me EASILY on a pad. He’s obviously smart enough to exploit the weaknesses, which puts him a LOT higher than the rest of the community that lost to it. -shoutout to fanatiq jr- Chris schmidt out smarted it in 2k6 I just don’t get why some of you others can’t. Remember that you CAN use A1 on pad. Just don’t use macros like everybody else. If console sticks suck, you can always play on pad without cheating.
The rules said obd is allowed, so you used it because its clearly the best option. If others didn’t, that’s bad strategy on their part. You were OK by using obd. Trying to deny it is what makes you seem foolish.

He can only play console… He has 1 other option, and that is to play using iono some other stick that he’s not good with like X Arcade but he’s still much better than the arcade. Of course he’s gonna use X arcade if he knows for a fact he will get raped using the regular arcade.
