DLC =/= Disc Locked Content
Although they did announced they will be releasing free/paid DLC throughout the entire year so we’ll prolly see more than just those 12 characters.

Christie is exactly the same as Eddy Gordo, always been noob friendly characters
No, Capcom is not the first to do this Hidden Disk Content, but they are by far one of the worst offenders in the industry.
Yeah, you paid for it already, so it’s all already yours. Capcom be stealing your money, yo’.
Why the fuck would you pay for something you already bought a second time?
Lol at all these people white knighting capcom.
There are some people here that just wanna play the god damned game just because they like it. Honestly I don’t care if there are 12 characters I can’t play. The ones that are already in the game are good enough
Actually… despite purchasing the game, you do *not *have copywrite ownership of whats actually on the disc/software. Its not “white-knighting” or even supporting Capcom, its called being rational.
To avoid all of this nonsense, Capcom should have just made its (poorly) hidden disc content downloadable. To me, it essentially isn’t much different than the expansion characters given in the super/arcade installments of SF4, only, instead of having physical expansions of the game, its DLC
add the 12 characters now for $20 and go ahead and call it Super SfxT. I remember buying SF2 on SNES for $80 at toys’r’us when it was released a LONG time ago.
Well your last few posts havent been related to this thread at all. I will admit almost everyone here is bitching about something. So if your going to bitch like the rest of us at least keep it on topic. Otherwise go to the appropriate threads and bitch there instead.
 I knew he was joking from the beginning. I posted the video somewhat hoping everyone else would notice his trolling but it failed.
All my posts were related to the topic.
Prove me wrong.
 Newsflash: you got ripped off there too.
I understand this was in reply to what i said to you, but not related to the locked characters. Secondly why do you give a shit if you haven’t bought and probably never will buy the game?
THIS. Most certainly wasn’t related to jack shit in here.
Are you trying to start a pointless argument?
EDIT: It appears I’m being trolled again. Not going to reply to you any further. Wasting my time. Like I said you haven’t bought the fucking game. None of this really applies to you so unless you have something productive to add, please stop.
Sure it was. This hacking is yet another example of them releasing a shitty, poorly made game. This is one of the reasons I hope they go out of business. Maybe you’re too stupid to understand?
Your replying to that guy? You should try out the ignore function it works wonders.
On Topic: I really hope I run into a Dudley player.
This is delicious.
I’ve actually been curious how Dudley/Steve would work. Steve looks like he’d be sick if you put work into his style.
I’m not paying for it a second time because what I got is what I paid for, you buy what is advertised, not what is hidden. smh
I don’t remember capcom telling us we were getting 12 new characters that come with the game on the first day of release, can you ? everyone who bought the game obviously thought the game was worth the money otherwise why buy it? it was only a few days after, that hidden disc content was discovered and then somehow some of the people who bought it felt like the game suddenly wasn’t worth the money, its stupid because what those people are saying is I want something for nothing .
“OMG i should be able to play that because I bought the disc”… no you didn’t buy the disc, you bought data that just happens to be on a disc, if you actually thought you were buying a disc then you should expect nothing to be on it you entitled fuck.
if someone shows me what I’m buying and I buy it, that’s what I’m paying for, If there happens to be something else that came with it that the shop owner didn’t mention then that’s just me getting something for free.
In case it wasn’t already made clear, the data for the DLC content, including all the characters and all the trials, is already on the disc. So by your argument yes, we are entitled to it because - in your own words mind you - we bought the data on the disc. Capcom is just withholding it for 6 months for the Vita release and will then start charging for it to be made available for people who aren’t clever enough to know how to access it already.
Maybe we’re looking at this the wrong way though. Maybe Capcom is just charging some sort of “installers fee” or “unlocking fee”. They give us the opportunity to access the data on our own when we purchase the disc, but if we don’t have the means, they’ll do it for us for a nominal fee! Brilliant!
They play as those characters because they can. They don’t feel like they have to justify it to capcom or anyone else and neither should you.
You can play as those characters if you’re resourceful enough. Just because you’re too lazy to figure it out doesn’t mean you should bitch about it.
True dat.
