There hasn’t been a console ban in over 2 years on xbox live, do you really think they will start now just because of some disk locked content?
But anyways I think we should find out this guys gamertag and send him a message telling him what a bad boy he’s been.
I hope I run in to this guy on xbox so I can give him a piece of my mind.
How dare they access the content on their disc.
I haven’t run into any yet, but a friend of mine has a replay of him fighting a Cody/Elena team
I don’t care tbh, but really if you are going to lock content on the disc Capcom… make sure it’s actually locked 
That just simply isn’t true. My friend got console banned because he was using Wireframes on Modern Warfare 3. He got console banned in December. Mind you I don’t condone his practices. If he wants to piss away 300 Dollars every time he can do whatever he wants.
Well that’s the thing about on disc content it can ALWAYS be unlocked. It’s just a matter of decoding the locks.
Fail: Capcom locking these characters on the disc in the first place and making them “DLC” you’ll have to wait to pay extra for.
Double Fail: these idiots playing online matches using hacked, on-disc, “DLC” characters that everyone else will have to wait to pay extra for.
Besides trying to get yourself banned by playing online, I can see how useful this is if you’re planning on playing a DLC character/team in the future, so that you get like 6 months headstart.
I’m sure you can also just simply play offline and not risk getting banned.
I hope capcom keep being 100% asshole to their costumers, at least it’s more likely that some people will play guilty gear instead of those trashy games when it comes out.

Capcom didn’t really do anything wrong in my opinion. Should some of them have been unlocks? Yeah more than likely but this “fad” of “BUY MY DLC” has been going on for much longer than when Capcom first joined in on it.
There’s nothing wrong with DLC but it’s the fact that the manufacturer knows people will buy it even if said person claims they won’t. Especially if it comes to being locked out from playing with friends because you don’t have said DLC.
This practice started ever since new-gen consoles rolled around. It’s a marketing ploy and everyone is falling into it.
I liked DLC better when I was playing Rock Band and it was used as a tool to continually expand a game throughout it’s entire lifespan.
Well at least we get to learn the match ups early. But I will be raging at the same time not getting to play them myself.
If people are willing to risk having their 360 banned, that’s on them. I’m sure they know the risks before taking the game online. I don’t see anything wrong with accessing the content already on the disc however.
If you’re going to be mad at anyone because someone else was able to access the content before you, be mad at Capcom.
That is what this is though.
Months from now when the game is finally getting stale, Capcom was gonna go SUPRIZE DLC! And then everyone was gonna be SFxT’ing like its Day 1 all over again. However, they messed up because someone figured out something simple that they did.
Yes but its not the point because this guy (as godlike as he may be to get the content early) should know better than to go online and tease the other kids its just unfair.
Just kinda sucks that they still won’t probably release the DLC characters early despite all this. That Sony contract is really screwing them over right now.
If you think it’s unfair, then email, tweet or write to Capcom complaining that you feel that content should be available now since those with the means can access it already.
Well I’m guessing everyone who is using them online is making alt XBL accounts so their main account wont be affected and they get free XBL.
I think this just validates my opinion that this whole DLC fiasco isn’t going to be something that is just going to go away or die down; it is going to eat away at the core of this game and the community until we finally get the complete product sometime in the Fall. This is just me venting and being vindictive right now, but I really wish EVO would drop SFxT from the lineup this year, just to give Capcom a big fuck you from the FGC.
If had the money to get a new account on XBL i would totally do this. But i wouldn’t use the characters. Maybe not even the costumes. I would just use the colors. All I want…ARE THE FUCKING COLORS. Speaking of those are they already on disc? Because I’ve seen gameplay of customization with all the “DLC” colors unlocked.
