It’s not surprising that “he needed to get laid” would come up as the reason for this incident with some people, especially on that type of website. Considering how disturbingly frequently “you need to get laid” comes up from way too many people as the “solution” to way too many different issues that often have nothing to do with sex, it should be expected unfortunately. This despite it being a very stupid argument that gets used by way more than pick-up “artists”.
Going back to what fishjie said in one of essay-length posts in here, capitalist society is all about constantly making you feel dissatisfied so you’ll buy stuff. Given “sex sells” and America is hypocritically prudish about sex, it’s really unsurprising that a lot of advertising and other aspects of society push “you need to get laid” and being “virginal” if male as a bad thing so that they can make a buck off of sexual frustration. With how widespread that attitude is among Americans and how it kept coming up in this thread, it’s part of the reason why I said that I’m surprised that stuff like this hasn’t happened more often. It’s also why I’m pretty sure it will happen again, especially if this incident was ultimately about sex like some believe–I’m not among them unless we’re counting the fact that I think lack of sex just gave him a convenient excuse to “snap” sooner rather than later.
I can’t really speak for Lord Raptor, but I’ll attempt to answer your question in a way he probably meant.
The meat and potatoes of the matter is that if you know someone that treats women like garbage, you should do something about it. This isn’t limited to say someone that out right beats women, but someone that may grope women, do cat calls, verbally harass women, etc. If you have a friend or an acquaintance that does those things, you should tell them to knock it off and disassociate yourself with them if they don’t comply. Don’t associate with shitty people.
Next time I walk up on a guy raping a woman in an alley(because that happens all the time) I will be sure to tell him to knock it off before I unfriend him.
Then when he tells me that’s not how it works I will just shrug like hey, my hands are tied buddy. Learned that last little move from my friend Beatrice.

I’ve stated all along the guy was mentally imbalanced. Nothing would have fixed him.
But if sex was the only issue, there are prostitutes and most guys wind up with someone. There are a lot of nerdy girls out there, they usually end up with nerdy guys. If it’s your goal to eventually wind up with somebody, it’s going to happen, it’s pretty much impossible for it to not happen. Especially if you are taking care of other areas in your life. If this dude wasn’t such a headcase he could have just gone to school, started a career, and things would have worked out for him. He only had that one female childhood friend, who he wound up losing contact with. If he had made the affirmative step to spend time with even her, probably he would have hooked up with her. If he also didn’t take everything so personally and assume a negative reaction from people, he probably would have been okay that way too. So he accidentally ran into a girl and she got mad, big deal, she probably would have been nice to him later on if they both sat in the same class. That’s just how things work.
But the dude skipped classes and got mad whenever he saw couples…and he’d somehow see them everywhere. He just refused to notice that most people are traveling around not as couples. When I commute on the LIRR I usually like to stand in the doorway instead of sitting down. Occasionally a hideous couple will stand there too and start kissing or whatever. I say hideous because it’s always the ugly ones. Now I will say, these couples are absolutely obnoxious. I am certain everyone thinks that. Usually I’m on my phone or something, but it does seem like they’re trying to get everyone’s attention: “Look, we’re both really ugly, but we are together! Be, like, jealous of us!” It happens very rarely, over say a year period maybe 3-4 times total? So the easiest thing to do, is to actually just walk off and go to another area in the car. And that is actually what most people also do, because really, nobody wants to see it. Now if it was like, two hot lesbians making out, probably most of us would like to ogle them, but no, it’s always two uglies.
What happened to this dude is he’d focus on that and he just wouldn’t notice everyone else. He shitted all over his Asian roommates, he even kept knocking his friend James who really didn’t care that much. The idea of paying for sex really pissed him off, but that’s stupid, if you want sex and can’t get a girl to hook up with you, what’s wrong with paying for it? fishjie did exactly that because he couldn’t get laid and it bothered him.
I paid on dates for the longest time until I finally started having the confidence and ability to not have to pay and wine and dine a girl for sex. But most guys don’t reach that. Most guys will pay for sex one way or the other. He just keeps coming up with these crazy rules that really don’t matter.
