Its interesting as usual how race dictates so much, and that the true underlining hate right now towards men is really towards white men, as most of us know. Its just interesting. They know that one slip up, one wrong statement, one moment where you take something too personal, will turn into a full on attack from 100 different angles if you criticize any aspect of said killers “blackness”.
The sad part is that black men are in such a dirty drawer of peoples minds, that when we fuck up, generally no one gives a fuck. They subconsciously at the very least just think, “Eh, as expected”.
Just ask yourself this, how many female serial killers does anyone know about, no matter the race? The media is only obsessed with white, or at least perceived white male killers because it goes back to that racist state of mind of, damn, A WHITE MAN DID THIS, wow, thats special, because we’re so great and have such better things to do. So lets harp on this forever to hopefully try to find a way to explain this away so people dont harp on the fact that white males tend to be associated with many of fucked up crimes, if not being the actual predominant guilty party of those crimes (rape, serial killers) in this country.

If it’s such a “hot issue”, then there’s all the more reason to make another, additional thread for it rather than mucking up this one. I say that because unlike this incident being a contained from this particular individual, this particular type of misandry is going to continue long after this incident is basically long forgotten, especially if it’s never confronted in the places where it’s actually proliferating. Even when people aren’t pointlessly arguing in them, “tragic news” threads for one incident always die quickly; the only exception was when the World Trade Centers got destroyed in 2001, but I honestly can’t remember if we actually had a thread just for that.
I wasn’t talking about the hashtag “movement”. I was talking about the rampage itself. The hashtag “movement” will probably outlast actual media attention of the rampage unfortunately, which I give two weeks of spotlight max and that’s provided another mass-shooting doesn’t happen in the meantime. Speak for yourself, I’m quite happy with feminism. Prior to feminism men had to get married to get sex, and there was a lot of heavy societal pressure to get married.
I have no interest in getting married and starting a family. I do however have a very keen interest in having sex.
Maybe some aspects of feminism need to be toned down, but the freedom from marriage and the free pre-marital sex need to stay.
My personal belief is that feminism is part of the problem with finances. Before women had no need to work outside the home. Finances were fine.
Now, it’s not only acceptable, but generally necessary. Very few jobs afford a family to live on one single income, now it’s almost generally required that both people work.
This thus creates a bunch of latchkey kids with no parenting at home, and parents start expecting schools, daycare, and the government to raise their kids.
Of course, I have no proof to back me up. Just my opinion.
