The Friday nights before Saturday’s event started as a casual session for local players to get a warm up the night before the tournament. Due to growing numbers and interest for the Friday it is to be scheduled as part of the event. We will also be playing casuals all night long.

Singles is now uncapped, although to encourage people to sign up early the first 32 sign ups will be £5 after that it will be £8. Sign up on the day will be £10, this is because we don’t want to be handling cash on the day and having to sort out £2 change when everyone pays with notes. It’s easier for us to prepare the brackets before the day of the event.

2v2 Tournament (Uncapped)

Format for the 2v2 will change slightly we will be introducing single elimination as we think the singles will run for longer as more people will enter.

Wooden spoon tournament

Bottom 8 from the singles tournament will automatically be entered into a wooden spoon tournament. Sometimes it’s not fair that the newer players have to face the top seeds straight away and get knocked straight into losers bracket and then out of the tournament. So in order to create some competition between the newer players the bottom 8 players will be entered into a wooden spoon tournament. This will happen during the later stages of the singles tournament.

£15 weekend entry (includes one night stay) add £5 for 2 night stay.

Thanks for making this thread Deemo, I personally was worrying that people might think that I was spamming the sub-forum with new threads.
