Finished a pad mod for Jason24cf. I dual modded his Hori Fighting Commander 3 Pro. I also swapped the R triggers with the L triggers, replaced the player led with blue leds, and made the player indicator also work on the 360.
Sort of. I’ve only made one dual modded sixaxis pad. The analog sticks dont work because I basically removed the original sixaxis pcb and replaced it with a 360 TE pcb and dual strike smd (both pcbs dont have analog stick support). So yes its possible, but I’m not offering it as a service just yet.
HFC3 Pro dual mods are $120+ shipping. I have a pad already I can supply for $35.
Alright, thanks for the info. I’m not sure if the fella who wants this done will dig the HFC3 Pro dual mod. We’ll see how he likes the design before I commit to anything. I’ll hit you up for it if he decides to roll with it.
Hey my VA brotha I got a pad you need to check out
its common ground and no need for a hex just two 10k’s
it might be beast for some pad hacks $26 at brick and mortar walmart

Hey Gummowned, I have a stock VSHG and I need a new PCB for it. (the factory PCB doesn’t like multi-button inputs.) I would like a PCB that works for PS3 & xbox360. If I have a Paewang PCB sent to you, could you solder up all the wires to the PCB. I would also send you the original wires & 5pin joystick harness from the VSHG as well. The only problem is this: I want the VSHG to look stock on the outside. i.e. no extra buttons drilled in to the case. the Paewang pcb requires you to press and hold the turbo button to change systems. There would be no Turbo button on the VSHG to press. Having the turbo function working would be nice since this is my shmup stick. I would also like to use the stock VSHG USB cable. I was waiting for the PS360+ but… Do you have a better solution to this and how much $ am I looking at + shipping? Thanks Gumms!
OK, sounds like this might work. I have a few questions before I follow through:
The USB wires are different colors. When I install the Paewang I will have to fuse the appropriate wires together. Is there any room for error when doing this? i.e. will the PCB blow up if I don’t have the appropriate wires fused together? See images below (top: Paewang Bottom: VSHG)
I want to keep the VSHG USB cable and discard the joytron USB cable. There seems to be 2 black wires in each strand. Does it matter which black wire attatches to which black wire?
The daughter board on the VSHG is responsible for PS, SELECT, L2 & R2. Since the Paewang is fully common ground, I will not have any issues wiring up to the one common ground line on the daughter board? When I hooked up a sixaxis to a VSHG, I could not get R2 to work because it had a different ground from PS, SELECT & L2.
I will order a Paewang next payday and PM you for your address & handle payment. Thanks Gummowned!
