i wouldn’t be interested in HD GG at all. GGAC gone HD yes, but normal GG, bahumbug.

I liked the Marvel-Mode in that game.

I think some people (myself included) may have skimmed this thread too carelessly, especially the post about a possible HD GG remix, and got the idea that they were talking about revamping AC and not the original GG. As far as that idea goes, I think it would be cool but I’m not sure it would be popular enough to be worth the investment, and I would hate to see a great company like Aksys take a financial hit from it.

Heh… I cant believe I keep seeing people posting all over SRK asking if Kliff and Justice will be tournament legal now that AC+ is getting a US release. So to put it simply
KLIFF AND JUSTICE ARE NOT AND NEVER WILL BE TOURNY LEGAL IN GGAC
For people who actually play this game on arcade(such as the Japanese, who will most likely be coming to EVO for example) it would be pretty unfair to have these characters in the game. Even if they arnt even over powered, no one has match up experience at all vs these characters.
If you want to play around with them for fun at home go for it, but please stop hoping/asking they will be tournament legal.
It was cool of Aksys to put this out for people who dont have the game yet or care about the bonus features for non tournament related reasons… but as far as tournament play goes, AC+ has changed nothing that AC had already established

How come Riot Iori and Evil Ryu were never tourney legal in CVS2? Not because they’re broken but because they’re not in the arcade version. The original tournaments for games were run on the cabinets. It would be unfair to change the rules for console tourneys. The whole point of console tourneys are for them to be more accessible.
That, and Kliff gets dizzies from amateur combos and Justice’s guard damage is equal to her near-nonexistent damage damper.
